Had to wait weeks to get my hearing test in the mail..First place I been to that wouldn’t give me a copy of hearing test the same day! Beware! They seem to want you to get hearing aids only from them!

The owner is very rude to her employees, they had a meeting with the door open and she was yelling at the ladies from the front desk and also yelling at her manager over an appointment not being booked. Very unprofessional person I ever seen in my life no one deserve to be treated that way. These girls work so hard to have your schedule full everyday. She also told them that if they don’t booked that appointment she will replace them what kind of owner runs a business like that. I felt awful for the girls working there they do such great work but don’t deserve to work in a place like this. And for the owner you should be ashamed of yourself for being rude to those girls because without them you wouldn’t have no one running your business. APPRECIATE YOUR EMPLOYEES

Sound Solutions?! More like Sound ISSUES!!! 0 stars if I could-- this place is a joke and suuuper shady! We went in for a Newborn Hearing Screening exam (we gave birth at Birthing Center and unfortunately, this place was recommended to us by them) back in March and for months later, we keep getting a notice for a bill for almost $500 due to "non-covered services". Um, this is a Newborn Hearing Screening Exam-- preventative care does NOT apply to the deductible!!! Literally went back and forth with Sound Solutions and my insurance agency backing me at least THREE times to get this thing settled. After the last phone call, I was told nothing further needed to be done on my end and Sound Solutions agreed to change the code to reflect services being 100% covered. Lo and behold, 5 months later, I get hit with a bill in December stating there is "no such thing as preventative services" so changing the code would be "insurance fraud", then threatening to send me to collections if not paid in 30 days (they even told my agent that because they're a "specialty clinic" they don't offer preventative service-- such BS, considering they were literally recommended by my midwifery and wouldn't they have told me that when I set up the screening exam in the first place?!?!?!). HAH! So I call my insurance agency to file another complaint and I am told by my agency that Sounds Solutions is coding it to reflect a diagnosis because my son has a hearing problem!??!? UM, WHAT? That's news to me! First of all, FALSE, my son can hear perfectly fine thank you and second, NOT ONCE HAS THIS EVER BEEN COMMUNICATED!!! And if this was true, wouldn't you expect this place to call us to tell us he has an issue and wouldn't they like to see him for another exam!?? If anyone's committing fraud, it's Sound Solutions! The exam itself was horrible as well, the doctor was late, took forever to set up, she kept poking my 1 month old's ear as if she couldn't find what she was looking for, had trouble sticking tapes on his face, it's literally like she didn't know what she was doing! At the end of our appointment, she did say everything looked normal!!!! We were not told or given ANY REASON that my son had any hearing issues. This whole place has no idea what they're doing and it's clear from other reviews that this place is money-hungry and they run their business unethically. Shame on my Birth Center for recommending this place as well. STAY AWAY!!

I was sent an invoice for services that should have been billed to my insurance company. I paid the bill in good faith, expecting to be reimbursed by said insurance. They informed me that this organization failed to bill insurance within the time frame outlined in their contract, and so they decided to take advantage of me instead of taking responsibility for their negligence. I attempted to contact them to make things right, and they were unresponsive. Their services are satisfactory, but I would not recommend this outfit based on their dishonest business practices.

I have been a hearing and balance patient at Sound Solutions since 2012. I have purchased two sets of hearing aids from them and twice had a battery of balance tests completed. They have always treated me well, answered all of my questions (and I ask a lot of questions), and have provided excellent cleaning and maintenance of my hearing aids. I wanted to compliment them on my visit yesterday. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been reluctant to make non-essential medical appointments. I wanted to have my hearing aids cleaned and serviced, but again was reluctant to visit the clinic in person. They offered me a "contact-less appointment" which worked out great. I called when I got to the office, they directed me to come and sit in the chair (freshly sanitized) outside one of the office doors. I passed my hearing aids through the mail slot in the door to Dr. Stephens. After about 10 minutes, Dr. Stephens returned with my hearing aids and passed them back through the door to me. She spoke with me through what looked like a karaoke machine, I could hear her perfectly. As usual, she asked me how I was doing and if I had any particular concerns about the performance of my hearing aids. I told her that they were working very well, that I just wanted to have them cleaned and checked. I have always been happy with Sound Solutions, but was particularly pleased that they made the effort to make me feel safe to have my hearing aids cleaned during this stressful time. Thanks to Michael, Dr. Caldwell-Miller, Dr. Stephens and all of the staff at Sound Solutions - you do a great job.

I first want to acknowledge that my boyfriend was nervous about spending such a large amount of money on his hearing aids. Because of this he did not sign at the first “free screening” appointment. He was not a quick and easy slam dunk sale. It took a couple of months, and 4-5 phone calls to Michael at Sound Solutions before he was ready to purchase.

I first want to acknowledge that my boyfriend was nervous about spending such a large amount of money on his hearing aids. Because of this he did not sign at the first "free screening" appointment. He was not a quick and easy slam dunk sale. It took a couple of months, and 4-5 phone calls to Michael at Sound Solutions before he was ready to purchase. Nonetheless, I am thoroughly shocked at how unprofessionally we were treated by Dr. Miller. Apparently, if you are not a slam dunk sale, she does not want to do business with you. She truly does not behave like a doctor who has taken a professional oath to help others. We went to the fitting appointment today, and the hearing aids they ordered for him did not have rechargeable batteries. Granted it had been a while since we had our initial meeting with Michael; however we both remember expressing that this feature was important. Before he even had the hearing aids in his ears, my boyfriend expressed that he did not want hearing aids that did not have rechargeable batteries. Dr. Stevens, with whom we were meeting, suggested he take them any way and promised they would get the right ones for him later. He said no, he would rather wait and get what he wanted. At that point Dr. Stevens walked away and Dr. Miller came to us. She was angry and shaking. And she spoke to Donald in such a rude unprofessional manner that it took me by great surprise. She told him he was in denial and that she felt he was just making more excuses to not get his hearing aids and that she did not want to treat him unless he took the hearing aids they had for him, the ones which would require him to replace the batteries once a week. We had always previously talked to Michael or the office staff, all who have been VERY professional and helpful. Dr. Miller has NOT been the one with whom we have stayed in contact. She has had very little to no interaction with either me or my boyfriend. That is why I am so surprised that she had such a strong reaction and was so rude and forceful. Her behavior in no way exhibited any sense of customer service, nor any kind of "bedside manner" one may expect to receive from a medical professional. She expressed absolutely no interest in talking to my boyfriend and trying to understand his situation. As Dr. Miller adamantly reminded us today, she is "the owner and founder of this business". It does not matter how professional and helpful her staff may be. She is rude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING YOUR HEARING AIDS HERE!
