βThis Korean/Asian market is a local neighborhood gem. It has almost all the necessities I need if I'm craving a Korean dish or attempting to make a recipe at home, from quality kimchi, tofu, fresh produce, meats, and more. All the aisles and inventory are packed into a small space, so it's a challenge to maneuver sometimes, especially when it gets busy. I shop here during the week for fewer crowds than the weekends or evenings. Prices are reasonable and comparable, if not better than other big-name markets.
There's usually plenty of parking, but with other businesses in the plaza, it can also be a waiting game. A few other small businesses are offered inside the market. I haven't had any issues with customer service, cashiers, and other staff doing their jobs with a smile and getting me on my way.β

βFirst time Ive been in the store and honestly I was blown away. It's clearly an old Costco inside but it's been converted into a giant supermarket.
The first thing you'll notice is the prices, especially on things like produce are dramatically less than even Walmart. Every paper and canned good has a WinCo generic brand for a fraction of the price. They also sell cat food, bird seed, granola and cooking supplies in bulk. They even managed to sneak in a honey/peanut butter maker from when Whole Foods was actually worth it.
And then there are the employees. A quick Google tells me the entire store is employee owned and operated. The employees, accordingly don't have the walking dead look like Vons or Target workers do. They are actually quite cheerful and helpful. The whole place gives off vibes of what grocery stores were like in the 80s, but with less cigarette smoke.
5/5 will be returning.β
βBusy parking lot with restaurants and a gym. Nice, big and clean store with lots of options, a good sushi counter, deli, and bakery. I'm so happy they built this store. I really disliked going to the Ralph's across the street.β
βHave you ever been to Gelson's on 2nd and PCH in Long Beach? I love shopping at Gelsons. There is a definite difference in the quality of meat and produce over other stores. They also have a wine bar!! I enjoy their deli and ready-made food section. It's better than Whole Foods. They also carry See's candy. Even simple things like their buttermilk dinner biscuits are out of this world. Their staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful and the store is always clean. They also have a beautiful bakery with irresistible treats. You can even buy gifts there. They have flowers and plants and all the best wrapping paper and cards Papryus offers. To top it all off, their loyalty program is better than all the rest. I save $5 to $10 per visit depending on how much I spend and I don't have to click digital coupons before I go. I highly recommend shopping at Gelson's 2nd and PCH.β
βAldi is my new food source. Very good quality and pricing. Not too crowded. Good parking area. Lots of ALDI brands. Clean store with very little clutter. Now possible to order on line.β
βInteresting selection of food and non-food items at a reasonable price. Great place to explore and get new ideas for meals and treats. The prices are better than most grocery stores.β
βGreat deals on PRODUCE.
You can't get everything you need here. Definitely not a one stop shop. But I come here for some great deals on some of my select items. Downfall for me is need to rent a cart. So I bring my own bags and shop with those as I peruse the store.β
βIt was Aldi .... I will day one thing about the employees there.... they usually r not that friendly...
But today the girl that checked me out was the nicest by far I have ever had niceness from some one working there... she was actually a sweetheart..... the rest of your employees at that store suck..... im just saying I love Aldi I go all the time love the great stuff there but that's it besides the girl that checked me out..... . Thanks Aldi for having great prices and the things I love β€οΈβ

βWent around 5:30pm. Was not crowded. Clean. Great selection of fruits and vegetables with good pricing. Good selection of ready to go and bake or microwave at home selection. Great selection of frozen shrimp. Whole frozen lobsters. Cheese cake slices...etc.β
βI've been shopping here for several years and it's a nice place. Some goods are noticeably cheaper than other places and some I can't find in other places like 99Β’. Occasionally they have random liquidation goods that are once-and-done which can be very nice, I once got a knife block set for $8 and when I looked it up online it was $65. Another comment saying they were overcharged but it was probably a misunderstanding, here they just count items of same price at a time then type it into the register, over the years I haven't been overcharged once.β
βThe employees are very friendly and the customers service are very good. I appreciate them when you need help. Some one are there to all ways help. Thank you for your good service. Keep up the good workβ
βI know! Leaving a review on a grocery store, WILLLDDD but I have a secret I can't gatekeep any longer :0 A little out of the way (like three whole darn gosh hours uugghhhhh) But they have something that no one else has. And trust me I've looked everywhere. You remeber those bags of milk they gave you at elementary school? Well what if a little birdie (me it's me! I'm the little petite birdy) told you there's something BETTER (shhhh let's keep it a dirty little secret between us ;)THEY HAVE BAGS OF MAYO. And I thought the same thing as you. GROSS. But honestly do NOT try it till you knock it. Just punch a boba straw through the bag (yes I keep one on hand, it is a MUSTTT)And slurp away. It's so satisfying and beautiful Toodles!β

β#DCGourmet passing through LBC. Was driving down East Anaheim street going to San Pedro, when all of a sudden was captivated by the allure of grill smoke in a parking lot. We decided to U-turn and see what it was all about, and oh, man were we amazed!
Very professional grilling was happening in front of the bodega and the adjacent tire shop. What was it? Golden chargrilled whole chicken, served with rice, beans, tortillas, all for about $16. Payment for the chicken is done inside the bodega, and the cashier gives you a receipt to give to the grill master.
Be prepared to wait a few minutes. They make sure to cook the sumptuous marinated chicken until cooked to perfection. While youβre there, take advantage of La MichoacΓ‘na ice cream shop. There is even an incredible butcher section in the back with huge varieties of marinated asada meats, plain meats, Korean style kalbi short ribs, and much more. Super fresh, clean, neat and zero meat smells. The convenience store section is very clean and has a variety of household and grocery needs.
Come for the chicken, discover the rest. LBC delivered!β
βI always shop here for my fresh fruits and vegetables. They have good quality produce. On, March 6, the cashier told me that the item I had was not on sale, so I asked to make an exchange on a sale item. The cashier very willing did it and she got out of her chair to take the item back and brought back the correct item. Kudos to this gal for going out of her way for the customer. This is the type of employees we need in our communities. Too bad I didn't get her name.β
βThis, super clean Asian market is just what we have been looking for. The produce is really the best, and the fresh fish selections with out the "old fish" smell will have you coming back again and again.
Just inside the front doors is the "Hot prepared Buffet"...with selections beyond what you dream of, even fresh whole squid on the grille.
The "whole roasted pig" New Years Eve....amazing...you should have been there to "get some"β

βHands down...Aldi's has the best value and prices. Whenever I travel, from GA, FL or CA, I find an Aldi's and I'm never disappointed! Thanks, Aldi's!!β
βMy special place. Today it was raining. They took care of all my needs for necessities; from veggies to dairy, juices, bread, cupboard supplies, lunch meats and freezer meats. Can't beat, great quality, $ savings! COOL BEANS?οΈ?β
βI love this store!! Full of healthier options! I think prices could be more affordable, but they do have great deals every week so I guess it evens out. I wish eating healthy didnβt always have to equal expensive.β
βI'm absolutely thrilled to share my love for Filipino food and snacks! ? The vibrant flavors and diverse dishes always leave me wanting more. I especially adore the Red Ribbon cakes ?; they're a sweet treat that never disappoints. Plus, the hot food selections are incredibly satisfying, providing a delicious and comforting experience. From savory to sweet, Filipino cuisine has a special place in my heart.

βThey carry a lot of hard to find items from the UK, like Bangers, Black & White Pudding, Rashers, Flake Bars, Malteasers, Aero Bars, Mushy Peas ... enough to make my London-born wife feel right at home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It's located inside a big building (a former Hotel back in the early 1900s) called Villa del Sol, parking is around the back or on Wilshire Ave (Wilshire Ave may be blocked off at Harbor Blvd so you may need to turn a block early and come in from the west). They have a restaurant/bar associated with them that's pretty good, The Olde Ship, a few blocks north of them on Harbor Blvd.β
βMore for hot food purchase on sat mornings than anything. Grocery selection is minimal compared to other Thai markets. The food selection has good variety but goes FAST- be there early.β
βFood 4 Less price's are low that I'm able to buy extra and that makes me Happy ? aa Mom & NaNa. I'm able to have extra fruits & Carrots for my grandbabies and Family!
SO I Love those's Price's ?β
βGood morning, it seemed like a very good store. It's the first time I've gone in to buy. I liked their food. They have a good price and the products they sell.β
βIt was a nice sizeable "little store". It felt like a neighborhood corner market there. The prices can't be beat. I will be back, it is convenient.β
βFound almost everything I needed today. Yay It was a pleasant shopping experience today. The only hiccup was the pallet by the egg corner so it was hard to navigate the big cart around this tight area. Perhaps next time setting down pallets -not in key corners- where customers are trying to maneuver. Since it's a small store, perhaps pallets are better left out in back and away from customer area during busy times. Saturday afternoon seems to be moderately busy and having a pallet in a key egg product corner (at the end of the Cheese and yogurt isle) was not particularly good planning by a supervisor.β
