Excellent school ! There is a reason why close to 80% of graduating students attend a 4 year university. My only feedback would be that some of the school buildings are outdated and need some upgrades.

This review is solely for the football field. Football field and stadium is small but very clean and comfortable. Grass fields seem to be rare nowadays on most football fields but natural grass is still payed here (hooray!!). Bleachers are a tad older but well maintained. Press box is very small but it is good enough to get the job done. There is a section located in the end zone which is solely for Amat students with school ID's and referred to as the, "Dog Pound". This area is loud, high energy and definitely a good time for students Overall, a good place to watch and enjoy high school football.

Since my son has been in Elementary we have thought about bringing him to Bishop Amat when he gets into high school and we are so glad we did, his so happy to be attending here and now that football season is here its even better, he works hard during the week to be able to hang out with his friends on Friday's. All the teachers are very helpful and the staff in the school office are so nice and helpful too. Im not sure why all the negative comments but everyone's experiences are different. Thank you, to all the staff at Bishop Amat.

It's a private Catholic High School all 3 of my daughters graduated from there and next my oldest granddaughter will start there. When my 3 daughters went there I thought the tuition was expensive you don't want to now a days tuition the education is at a high standards and the school is well maintained and security excellent but tuition is a little steep also they had a lot famous people and movie stars and also sports people too. Over all it's a great school my daughter's did well after graduating from there. Like the tuition is steep you really have to pinch every penny because some where down the school year it will count and as far your kids all they to do is all the effort into their studies and they will succeed.

No stars given to this school . I wouldn't recommend to any one. They are money hungry and there cheer coach is a piece of s*** . She's unfair she swears it's college cheer ! it sad how they only want $$$ at this school . They don't give a rats a** about your child . Cheer coach has 2 girls , she will understand when her girls are bullied how she Bully's the cheerleaders.

Very dissatisfied of the staff and students here at this school. I grew up in the area and looked up to the people that went here and now that I had the experience to put my child here after a few months into freshman year I had already decided we weren't going to return... things got worse teachers are rude staff is never any help and students are just as rude as the parents. After transferring I needed transfer papers and information and it's impossible to get anything from anyone here. Do not bring your kids here worst experience

Sorry but I can’t stand the people who over crowd my street with their parking. They have no respect taking up all the parking in front of my home and even leave behind trash..... it’s very terrible!!!!!

A fantastic private Catholic school and an excellent place to go for Sunday Bingo. The teachers are great and are willing to help the students with anything. The staff are friendly and will work with parents. As an alumnus of Bishop Amat, I can say that my experience here was terrific. The teachers helped me with everything, even if it was not the subject they taught. As a volunteer for Sunday Bingo, the games are amazing, they go promptly, and the payouts are great.

Ms. Oswald is a grubby little gremlin who tries to steal money from your wallet when you are not looking. Would not recommend this school unless you want to play the champion of kiss or slap.

This school is one of the best private schools in the Los Angeles area. We're not Catholics but we had three children attend and graduate from this school. They all did very well academically and most importantly developed good personality and made good friends. The investments paid off, I highly recommend sending your children to Bishop Amat high school.

Extremely disappointed with how my alma mater is being handle. The principal, Monsignor, and others in charge of the school are horrible people. Treating their staff so horribly and making fun of a death! Who does that? As a Catholic school those in charge are NOT demonstrating how to be good Catholics by treating others like trash. I love my alma mater but they are tarnishing that image!
