“Yesterday morning I and my gal pal went into Dunn Edwards and spoke with Thomas Carlton, Assistant Manager, my gal pal is painting the inside of her house and I am going to help her, I am a retired Carpenter Working Supervisor for the County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department. I am trying to teach her how things are done, we talked with Thomas once before and this time as the last time he was extremely helpful, and with his knowledge he really showed how simple things can be as long as you know what you are trying to do, and even as in this case that is not the fact... We purchase $80 worth of paint and she was very happy. I saw another women in there, and she was struggling trying to communicate what she is trying to accomplish, the person who was helping her was VERY patient and helpful, as I listened in on the conversation. So here it goes. It doesn't matter if you are a guy or gal, if you are not sure of what you are doing and how to go about doing it with regards to painting, come down to Dunn Edwards have all what you are trying to do in your mind or write it down, talk to these highly trained, skilled professionals, explain to them what you are trying to accomplish, oh PLEASE make sure you have your colors picked out... Then listen to what they are telling you, they will tell you what level of paint you should be looking to buy, and here is the hard part, TRUST them, you won't go wrong, that is the main part and the most important part. Then when you go home, get on U Tube enter Tutorial for painting interior, or exterior of residential home, and then start looking at the tutorials that are there and get some knowledge on how you should proceed. Good Luck and have fun, and if something didn't quite turn out, go back to Dunn Edwards show them from your I Phone, I Pad and they will be able to help you achieve your goal. The trick to this is simple, establish a relationship with your Dunn Edwards person, and you will feel much better as you go along with taking care of the most expensive thing you will ever purchase in your life... Thomas Carlton, thank you for your patience and knowledge and people skills, I and my gal pal will be coming back as once I change out all the case and base inside the house and paint all the interior of the house, no doubt we will be back for different colors as I am trying to introduce her to colorful colors for her various rooms in her house....”
“While it has been over a month since my visit to SW, I would be remiss if I didn’t leave a review for quite possibly the best customer service I’ve ever received while in a pinch. I desperately needed paint for my contractors by the next morning, but Yelp and Google had different times listed for when the store closed. When I called on June 17, luck would have it that the shop was closing in 15 min but Daniel the CSR said he’d be able to help me if I got there quickly (I only live a few min away). As soon as I entered, I gave him 2 custom swatches I had brought from another place and he was able to guide me to the closest matches. While not perfect, I was already satisfied with them given my desperation but Daniel went above and beyond and literally created new batches of paint that matched my original swatches, even though it made him stay a little longer after closing. I felt so bad to inconvenience him but he was so gracious about helping me. On top of all that, he applied promotional discounts I wasn’t even aware of and offered to help take everything to my car. I will need paint again for another area of house renovation soon and I know where I will be going to purchase. Sherwin Williams management, if you’re reading this - buy this man lunch and give him a raise! :)”
“Love coming here for all my paint needs. They always have sales and have really good paint. My go to Primer is the extreme bond. That sticks to many surfaces really well. The manager and assistant manager are really nice and helpful! They have a nice selection of products compared to other paint stores. Also, this store is one of the only stores that have Wall Paper books in the store as everyone is getting rid of them.”

“Jerry is absolutely amazing! He’s so sweet and patient, I was very indecisive with the color of my room. And picky on top of that, he gave me his professional advice and took time to compare the paint samples I choose. So thanks to Jerry I was able to achieve the perfect color for my room. As for the paint it is what it says it is. Outstanding and one coat providing high quality. I bought one gallon and still had some left over for my room. Will be coming back with more projects!”

“Awesome paint supply store. The store is very clean and organized. All the paints are in order. Most of them are in order of color. Customer service is really friendly, very helpful. A/C is always on, always a plus for a hot day. The process of mixing the paint is rather quicker than I thought. But, then again they are probably just good at their job. They do offer a waiting area with chair's and a table, also they offer coffee for when you're waiting.”
