The entire staff is SUPER RUDE and walk by fast to avoid customers. Every time I asked someone a question I got 'I don't know thats the other guys department.' The self checkout attendant acted like it was a HUGE BOTHER to take an item off the register I didn't want. I said thank you leaving and no response. NO ONE HERE WANTS TO HELP CUSTOMERS SO DONT BOTHER ASKING QUESTIONS OR FOR HELP. Find it yourself for best results.

Mary at customer service was extremely rude and passive when we asked to purchase items. She claimed we couldn't buy our items without our physical Home Depot credit card. When we asked for the manager she then cooperated and finally let us buy our items while being rude the entire time.

So I usually dread coming to Home Depot but yesterday I had the best customer service. My family and I went there to look for bathroom furniture and I saw a upright freezer that I've been wanting. There was a lot of people waiting to be helped but Mia acknowledged me and said she will be with me as soon as she could. That's very rare when I usually see workers there and they either just walk by me or I pretty much have to chase them down to get help. Well after she was able to help me she was very informative and answered all my questions and was very patient. She ordered what I needed and I was just very pleased with my experience. I hope she sticks around and hopefully her customer service will rub on to the rest of the staff there.

Came to Home Depot today to purchase a connection hose for my toilet. This corporation and their stores give an appearance of honoring Veterans and Service Members with Veterans parking places and large American flags on display outside. They even point out the give a 10% discount to Veterans and Active Duty Service Members, or at least they want you to think that. I have watched this program change over the years. First it was 10% off all purchases, then it changed to everything except appliances and larger more expensive store items. Even later they made a dollar amount limit one could receive and now they arbitrarily pick what items they will discount as I received a discount on one day and not another on the same item. Today I was told that the associate had reached his limit on how many discounts he can individually give. Then he went to talk to his boss he said and came back with the information that the connection hose I was purchasing was not on the list of discounted items. Really Home Depot? PATRIOT Do yourself a favor and take your hard earned money to Lowe's where they truly honor our Service Members and Veterans by giving them a 10% discount on everything purchased in the store. If you really want to send a message to Home Depot, send a copy of your monthly receipts showing your purchases with discounts from Lowe's! Let them know what they are missing out on

Dear La Quinta Home Depot, I have to wonder why all of your employees are so miserable? They are rude and unenthusiastic and I've been there at least 5 times over the past year. It makes me feel bad to be treated that way. I think it's a real problem. Getting help is nearly impossible and the employees are downright surly. When spending hundreds of dollars on paint and bathroom tile it's not like I'm at Walgreens buying a pack of gum and some dish soap. I expect to find knowledgeable professionals. So whats up LQ HD? Thank you.

I lose my receipt so I can't figure out how to give praise to two employees: Arely and her partner in crime, Brandon, in plumbing. They were so professional and were experts in helping me figure out a complicated situation with my plumbing pipe dilemma. I have never had such a fantastic experience as I did with these two, that I would like to shout it from a mountain top. Arely was *five stars* for her patience, her diligence and problem solver attitude, and lastly sharing her expertise in her department. Would 10/10 recommend this Home Depot for all of your plumbing needs.

I know why they have low reviews at the LaQuinta store. I went to this store earlier today to get some parts. While there, I said "I rented a welder at the other home depot in a nearby town. This one's closer. When I'm done with it, may I return it here? The clerk said "yes, you may return it at this store and we'll just drop it off at the other store on our route." I thought that was great. Two hours later, I returned the welder (it wasn't light) to the La Quinta store. As I approached the door (with the heavy welder) the clerk was just running to lock the door. She motioned towards the other door further away inside the store. I then pushed the welder to the other door and inside the store I brought it back near the door I had first tried to enter. Once I got there, they said "no, you want to return it to the other side of the store" and she motioned to the customer service counter on the opposite side of the store. When I got there, the said "you can't return that to this store, you have to return welders to the other store". I recounted the advice I was given, etc. and he said authoritatively: "WHO TOLD YOU THAT??!" I identified the clerk, and he said "we'll have some words." I explained that his having words wouldn't resolve my problem and that I'd wasted a lot of time due to the misdirection. He just repeated "we'll have some words." OK, well, I've had some words now, too. I've had pretty great service overall at home depots around the country. In particular, at Home Depot tool rental departments. This Home Depot, not so much.

This HD location consistently provides subpar service. I have spent thousands of dollars over the last year at HD which put me in their ridiculously so-called VIP/Pro Customer category. You know what I get for it? A coupon for a free 2.99 drink and super RUDE employees who treat women like they're freaking idiots. I don't know what is worse, this store or the overall company. They have become so incredibly cheap. For example, I spent 1k on paint last month. I asked the paint employee if I could get a couple stirring sticks for the paint. I asked for 3 sticks. You would have thought I had horns growing out of my head the way she looked at me. She then said, "Um, we don't give those out complimentary anymore." She then pointed me in the direction of the sticks for sale display. Are you kidding me? These sticks cannot cost more than 3 cents a piece and they want to charge customers who are spending hundreds of dollars for a 3 cent stick. The audacity and greed of big corporations is disgusting.

I don't know why this Home Depot has so many low reviews because I have been there at least 50 times and every time I have had a positive experience with helpful salesman. One example is when I showed up at 8:57 and was in desperate need of a gallon of paint for my daughters unfinished room which I had promised her would be done the following morning. I ran in and Cici immediately helped me out! She could have very easily told me that they were closing and she did not have time to mix the paint that I needed, but instead she graciously and happily said it was no problem at all and made the paint for me literally as the lights were being turned off in the store. Her willingness to go above and beyond just out of the kindness of her heart made the biggest difference to my 11-year-old daughter who had been excited for the last two weeks awaiting the big reveal for her bedroom which would not have Happened if cc had not assisted me! Thank you Home Depot, specifically Cici, for being there when I need you the most!

Been waiting at curbside pickup for over hour. Texted to number at curb that I arrived. Got an automated response confirming 30 minutes go by no one. Called and was told they didn't see it. 10 minutes later 1/3 of order came out. Waited 20 minutes for more items. No one came. Went into store( defeats sole purpose of curbside) 20 minutes later part 2 of 3. Still waiting for part 3. Hour and 15 minutes. Not isolated case. Car next to me has been waiting over hour tooGlad to see Home Depot takes Covid seriously Such a joke

After stopping at a flower shop, a pedicure, and a latte -- a stop at Home Depot gets my testosterone flowing and affirms my manhood. Whether you're a expert, contractor, or walk around with a continual question mark over your head -- this place is for you. They have help when you need it BEYOND the learning thru Google or Youtube and a DIY video. Sure, you don't have the customer service like the little mom & pop shops, but you've got rock bottom prices just a smidgen over the wholesale. With the enormous selection of everything under the sun, this can only be compared to other "big kid on campus", Lowe's.Location specific: La Quinta, CA===========================* This is the "working man" store. Not just the singular person shopping for a thing or two, but construction and contracting crews buying bulk and big items. After all, this and the surrounding areas are big in building new homes.* It's doesn't feel clean. It must be near impossible with all the crews. * Overall, not a good experience.

Giovanni provided excellent service. He was patient and accommodating and knowledgeable. it just took a long time to find help as usual. I say as usual because it was this way BEFORE the pandemic. Why don't they hire more help? It's a busy store (the parking lot always has many cars). It's frustrating sometimes. On another occasion I couldn't find help so I went to Lowe's.
