When the digital key (an option) failed to start the car, I returned to Hyundai of La Quinta to troubleshoot the problem. Two employees gave a valiant effort, but neither could solve the issue. That's when Greg Dixon walked up and offered assistance. Working in the 100+ degree weather, he teamed with another employee (Abel) and eventually found the solution. He suggested a follow-up with the service department. I greatly appreciate Greg could have stayed in the air-conditioned showroom, but rather opted to help a frustrated customer.

Purchased a Hybrid Tucson, from Hyundai of La Quinta, the salesman Jessie Vang was the best we have ever dealt with when purchasing a vehicle. He was very helpful in explaining all the details of all the vehicles we looked at can test drove. The finance department was exceptional when dealing with the financing. This is the place to purchase a Hyundai, don’t waste your time going anywhere else.

Hyundai did not back up their warranty claiming negligence on my part because I couldn’t provide oil change paperwork. I only had 44,500 miles on a 2016 Tucson and took care of my car. They didn’t want to admit the constant issues Hyundai is having with the oil consumption on their cars. They disrupted my financial life and hindered my family’s future. Shame on me for not keeping every paper received for oil changes, but shame on them for not supporting their customers. I was devoted to Hyundai/Kia for over 15 years…no longer.

Went to Hyundai of La Quinta for my first oil change. Richard and Jonathan were terrific- answering all my questions and I felt very comfortable there.I am having a little issue with my phone/dashboard connection and Lamontaddressed it immediately. I have an upcoming appointment with the "tech" guy shortly. This dealership is tops.Dale W.

Hyundai of La Quinta service department has been on a steady decline over the last few years. From the work the technicians produce, to the customer service. I’ve had my fair share of unpleasant visits with them and have seen/ heard the same from multiple friends and family. Gave a few calls and was told to hold (approximately 10 mins each time) just to get the phone hung up on me each time. The last time I called back I was sent straight to voicemail. Absolutely wonderful! The staff needs a complete overhaul with the exception of a few employees. As I said, complete decline of quality service from Hyundai of la Quinta service department. Please don’t bother giving me contact info to the general manager or having ME reach out as it never leads to you guys taking accountability or truly helping, which is clear from the multiple negative reviews and your responses to them.

The service manager there is an idiot can’t manage his crew.was there for something they fixed but broke something in the process and said he would charge me again when I already had paid almost 200 dollars the first time so when I asked to speak with him he was acting like he was busy. Great customer service

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The service and the work is terrible. Waited for almost an hour to be assisted and it wasn’t busy. I stood in front of the desk waiting for the person to get off their phone because they were texting and just scrolling so I thought I was being generous to not interrupt work. However the worker was just scrolling through social media and didn’t even bother to see if I was assisted. The other worker was talking to another client about things that has nothing to do with the cars. It was about vacation homes or whatever. I did not want to be rude so I waited patiently for almost an hour until I had to say something and call them out so that they could be aware of their surroundings. I also had to keep calling to see if my car was ready and they would keep putting me on hold for a very long time and just couldn’t communicate adequately to say either yes or no it’s still being worked on. The people are rude and they didn’t even do a good job. They shouldn’t be running the business.

May 14- My car broke down.May 19- Took it to Hyundai of La Quinta after finding out from my parent's mechanic that the engine didn't work anymore.June 22- The new engine replacement was approved.June 28- I was told that there was a radiator leak, however, my car never had any leakage or didn't overheat prior to taking my car to Hyundai of La Quinta. I was then quoted $1364.30- I accepted because I needed my car.June 30- I was able to pick up my car but was told that they had to replace my A/C compressor and did this for free since they gave me an estimate already.July 18- I was driving with my son and two cats and my A/C went out on a very hot day (115 Fahrenheit). My son and cats showed signs of heat exhaustion. I called Hyundai and expressed my frustrations and was told that someone would call me back that day or the next, I asked if someone can please call me back that same day.July 19- No call, I called back and was told that my A/C couldn't be fixed until Monday, I expressed my frustrations again. Thankfully 20 minutes later, Richard gave me a callback and asked that I take my car immediately. I took my car and later that morning I was told that it was my A/C compressor, I asked why my A/C compressor went out that fast and I was then told that the technician who worked on my car wasn't in and that they probably didn't flush out the system thoroughly or at all. I was also notified that the positive battery terminal would need to be replaced soon due to it losing its tension and causing poor connection, I was quoted $1086.19 , I declined. I picked up my car and drove it straight to my parents house where my dad checked under the hood and we found that a bolt was actually broken off, I was never notified from Hyundai that something was broken. I took pictures and called Hyundai and spoke to Richard, he asked me to take my car the following day.July 20- My car wouldn't start and I had to get it towed back to Hyundai of La Quinta, I was then quoted $255 to fix it, I expressed my confusion because the day prior they wanted to charge me $1086 for this repair and I explained that this bolt wasn't broken prior and that I shouldn't have to pay when they broke it and failed to communicate that with me. It was then "free" but my car had to stay overnight.July 21- I was told that my battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore, therefore they would need to jump my car and that I would have to take it straight to AutoZone to get a new battery. My car never had these problems before taking it to Hyundai, I asked how this could have happened and they explained that my battery probably drained since they had my car for a month and a half and never charged my battery or turned on the car. I was then told I wouldn't have any more problems with my car.July 22- I was driving my car on the freeway with my family and my car began to surge and smoke, we were able to coast off the fwy and get to a side street. When we opened my hood, there was an unknown liquid all over my engine leaking onto the street. I tried to get my car towed but then learned that I had used all my tows up from May 19 to now because of these "fixed" problems. I had to use someone else's insurance to tow my car. When the tow operator arrived we asked if he could identify the liquid and could see what was wrong. Within seconds found that one of the tubes from the transmission to the radiator had not been clamped to the radiator outlet and the air intake was missing the fasteners! Pictures were taken of this as well.At this point I am concerned that HoLQ has not competently repaired my car and that in not doing so has created problems putting in jeopardy the health and lives of myself and my loved ones. Before turning to the Better Business Bureau and the Riverside County District Attorney’s Consumer Frauds Unit I would like to be contacted by HoLQ leadership and Hyundai regional management to discuss these problems and how your company will make right this situation.

I have always been pleased with the top notch service received at Hyundai of La Quinta. Both the mechanics, the schedulers, drivers, cleaners, and the office personnel are pleasant and truly upbeat about the services they provide. This service facility is what I would call a "tight ship," and each person works constantly to make sure every moment of the customer's experience is as pleasant as ti can possibly be

Alex Corona and the Service Team at Hyundai of La Quinta are truly outstanding. My mother owns a 2022 Tucson and the guys and gals at this dealership have provided her ongoing support in terms of how to operate this vehicle. My mother comes from a pre-computer era and she is easily overwhelmed by modern gadgets and displays. You all have been patient and professional. My service advisor Richard Bender went above and beyond his call of duty.When I arrived , I asked him how long my car would be in service..He told me about 2 1/2 hours but got out behind the counter and went out into the garage to ask the mechanic how long it would take!!! He came back and gave me the mechanics time of three hours. My car was finished 1/2 hour early...I asked a question about the part that was replaced on my car and he went out into the garage brought the part back for me to see!!!! Seeing the part really helped me grasp what they had to do to replace the part. Richard is very Professional and knows how to handle clients!!!I highly recommend Hyundai of La Quinta service department, Richard Bender Service Advisor!!!Thank You Richard Benderfor providing a positive experience!!!!!!!
