Rosati's Pizza is under new ownership. The last owner advertised "Chicago Italian Beef Sandwiches " that was disappointing. I'm happy to report that the new owner's got the recipe right. While I've lived in California for more 50 years, I spent nearly 20 years working in Chicago where I experienced my favorite Southside Beef stand - "Al's BBQ" that was rated Chicago's favorite on Taylor Street West of Halstead Street. We've lived in La Quinta for 30 years and the closest I've come to finding an original Italian Beef Sandwich was located in Long Beach (unfortunately I do not remember the name). The man difference between a "Sliced Beef" and an "Italian Beef" is the paper-thin "shaved"beef and spices. Authentic Chicago Italian Beef is simmered in the spiced juices and piled high on an Italian Roll. Winter "Snowbirds" escaping the cold Chicago winters no longer need to travel to Long Beach for their Chicago favorite sandwich. Rosati's finally did their homework and brought Chicago's Italian Beef to the Desert. I gave Rosati's 4 out of 5 stars, deducting one point for skimping on the amount of beef served on the sandwiches I've ordered in Chicago, IMO, Rosati's has a winner but before they can claim success, they need to give California a new sandwich that satisfies the appetite as well as the budget. If you've never tried it, you're in for a treat. This is the real thing.

Man I'm a huge chicken Alfredo lover so I was excited getting it but it was honestly shocking and very disappointing. Very cheesy to the extent where it was more cheese than pasta which was very gross. I'm sorry to give a 1 but whoever made the pasta should be ashamed for putting so much cheese.

This place has gone down the tube since it was acquired by the new owner. The dough is terrible and the toppings are not much better. I would chose Dominos over it as sad as that sounds.

Canceled an order 25 mins after I made it and the restaurant had originally confirmed it. Yea that’s a great way to permanently lose a customer.

Rosati's is under new management, so i was concerned that the quality would not be as good. The pizza and Caesar salad were great. Service was efficient and friendly. I'll definitely order from them again.

Love the pizza here, we did take out. Don’t bother with delivery apps their old school. It’s a small place with weird hours I believe from 2 to 8pm but hopefully they change your hours for the better considering it’s one of the best pizza is the best I’ve had in Cali!Deep dish was amazing regular pizza was nice thin crust and sauce was nice!

We have always enjoyed the pizza at Rosati‘s since discovering it during the Covid lockdown. It became our go to every Thursday night for pizza. We have continued visiting through the change to the new owner, but I am concerned now that they may be out of business because I call and it says that they are currently closed but there is nothing on the store saying that they are temporarily closed and there’s no way to reach them.

Ordered on-line at about 7:05. Received confirmation of order and payment showed in my account. Stated pizza would be ready at 7:39.Arrived at the restaurant at about 7:45. The girl working the counter stated they did ot receive my order as their system must have a glitch.I stated that the glitch was not my problem and I would wait while they made my order. She stated that they closed in 40 minutes and that would not be enough time. I let her know that I ordered the pizza and it was paid for and I would wait. She handed me a piece of paper and told me to write my order down. I started to write, she walked to the back then came back to tell me that the ovens were already shut off because they had been slow and would take a while to heat up. I again said I would wait. They then refused to make the pizza stati g the manager Lorena told them to shut everything down.I asked to speak to the manager and was told no manager was on site and in fact lived in Northern California.I asked for a phone number which went to VM, however I could not leave a message because the VM box was full.I then texted the number and the person who responded stated they were not Lorena nor were they the manager or owner of Rosatis.I have been to this Risatis before and the pizza is the closest I have found to what I had growing up in Chicago. However, this dishonesty and lack of customer service will keep me away and I will no longer recommend to people. The couple of times I visited after the ownership change I was hopeful because the staff seemed more enthusiastic about their jobs. Seems to have changed. Will find out tomorrow if I can get my money back.

So first off rosaries is under new management which is fact great. The place is refurbished and a actually happy staff. If you actually a native Chicago you know the deep dish is for the tourist. We care about the sauce and cheese and since they have been under management they've been hitting every point. Chicago pizza is in CA.
