Today I experienced the best service Ive seen in years. Edna the Tech lead( mgr?) happened to help me at the check out with my Staples and HP accounts, then, when I returned as Id purchased the wrong printer, she led me to just the right item, and I needed her guidance! Every store should model their customer service staff to be just like Edna. Thank you Edna!!

Staples predictably always has what I need when I go there. Prices are reasonable. The stores are laid out with good organization making it easy to find needed goods and not waste a lot of time hunting.

Prices too high. Not enough staff to help people. Cashier was gone helping someone when I wanted to pay. Hire more staff and lower prices. The managers are probably hiding in the back office.

Unfortunately I have not had good experiences with their print department. They always seem understaffed (not the employee’s fault I know) but this time they essentially lost/misplaced my (really basic) order and I’ve been waiting 2 days for an update and no one has done anything with the order. Today I called AGAIN (after calling yesterday AND going into the store yesterday, which I had to leave because the line was too long) and the rep hopefully sorted it out (TBD) but he didn’t apologize for the fact that they screwed up my order. And I’ve been waiting 2 days for some really basic prints (like 5 prints) just on regular paper. Their print staff is lacking customer service skills and they are probably being overworked from what it looks like.

The assistant manager and the manager are absolutely the best. They always are extremely helpful and walk me over to the products. I love the La Quinta store. The store is absolutely perfectly organized and well stocked.
