I was looking for a totally or near totally finished car. After several conversations on the phone I decided to purchase a 1951 ford convertible. They assured me this car was what I was looking for. I had the car shipped and all went well there. But this is a typical buyer beware story.Although the car from the outside is gorgeous, there are many things wrong mechanical that they certainly knew about but chose not to disclose to me. I don't know about you but to me that is a bald face lie. I am still happy with the car but had I been informed or smart enough to have some one look at it, I would have negotiated a a price that would have covered the untold money I am spending to correct what they chose not to tell me. I called them about the issues I had found. All I got from them was crickets.I would not choose to do business with them again and certainly do not recommend them.BEWARE !!!!!!!!!

Bought my dream car 1985 Chevy el Camino from them, at time of purchase they told me the car had 24,000 miles and the car was in great shape. Obviously it's an old car I get that but come to find out the car I bought needs a new engine and needed the carburetor rebuilt. Now if this car actually had 24k miles I wouldn't need a new engine and a carburetor job. Makes you wonder what are they really selling??? So now I'm out $23k and still have to spend at least 7K to get the work done. So not happy with them at all!!!

This place is a joke and the owner is such a cliwn he is the type of guy that won't put one dollar into a car if it needs it he just wants to buy it and get it half-ass cleaned up and try to make all kinds of money on it ..he has lots of money and think she's a real true car guy but he really isn't he just stands around and points at what he wants with that stupid little hat on I..'ve never seen him own one car that's actually impressive in person and I don't think he's ever armor Alled a tire in his life.. for some reason he likes sitting at this dump on arrow highway trying to pedal these s*** box old cars.. he paid my friend almost $70,000 about 15 years ago for an original boydster and his dumbass didn't know how to drive in a driveway and scrape the whole underneath of his car at his La verne location... But on another note by Herbie were because he does not like to stay in behind anything everything is pretty much as is there and you get what you pay for with this place .. also for the record even though I don't deal with them I have sent a few people over there over the years and they have walked through his lot and no one even bothered to help him they were too busy yapping in his office kissing their boss's ass

We will be sharing a detailed report of what American classic cars did to us with the sale of a model a that we are at this time pulling the cylinder head as this car was sold to us with many safety concerns, serial number issues and a blown head gasket, head sealant was put in cooling system.Complete story to be posted with emails and photos. We will be contacting state and local authorities in Arizona and California.Beware of Charlie, he is a excellent B.S artist

Buyer's beware!Make sure you do your research before buying from this place, as all of their cars come 'as-is' and that could mean a TON of work that needs to be done after you buy the car, their prices do not necessarily reflect the condition of the entire car, but rather, the outside of the car. A clean exterior and interior don't matter if the car stops working six months in.They do NOT use CarFax which shows more detail than the reports that they give you (the reports they give you do not show the mileage at each inspection, which CarFax does!). This could leave room for the odometer being inaccurate - they use tricky word phrasing - such as "the odometer reads - 80,000" when in reality they know that the car actually has 180,000 miles on it (this is only relevant to cars that only have 5 digit odometer spaces such as older Ford Broncos, etc.)They are just sales people trying to move items, it's a business I get it, but they will do what it takes and say what they want in order to move their stock. I'm not saying don't buy from them, I'm just saying if you do decide to buy from them, please make sure you do your due diligence and know the value of the car you want and the pieces that will need repairs before buying, as is true of any dealership, but specifically places that sell 'classic cars'.To the team at ACC - Please do your customers a favor and disclose any information that you can to people.Feel free to message me if you have questions!

To the team at ACC - Please do your customers a favor and disclose any information that you can to people. Feel free to message me if you have questions! Edit: In response to Wesley's response: I did not want to put any specifics on here but now that you have: The car was indeed bought back but at a deficit to me (I had to add in $5,000.00 worth of repairs and improvements), I asked to be reimbursed for these items as they would then add value to the car, which they would not meet and told me it was better to just hang up than to continue asking about it so I was left without much of a choice. The "extra" $1000 they added to me didn't even cover the tax that I paid on the car, so it's really not saying much that they did that. The fact remains that if the mileage would have been reflected correctly or disclosed in the first place, then I would never have purchased the car in the first place. That is what I repeatedly tried to get your company to understand, but you keep talking about the repairs. The repairs wouldn't have mattered if the mileage would have been accurately represented and disclosed, because I would have walked away from the purchase. As a used-car dealership selling over 2000 cars, it is my opinion you should know when a car likely has more mileage than is reflected and you should let buyers know that instead of playing a seller's trick by pretending you didn't know, or if you didn't know, you should give your buyers the CarFax so that you do know. Most importantly, your website has already listed the car again for more than the price it was purchased back, even knowing that the car has over the reflected mileage on the odometer. And when looking at the website, you are once again advertising it with 80,000 miles, and not a disclosure in sight, despite the fact that you now KNOW FOR A FACT that it has over 180,000 miles on it (I provided the CarFax to you that shows the rollover). Just plain shady.

Nice cars and great people. The people working here were nothing but helpful with my new purchase. Went over the vehicle in detail and helped me with a few minor details on the car. Overall I was very happy with the experience and would recommend to anyone looking to get that hard to find classic.
