I go to the La Verne store frequently and I have always found the various staff members to be courteous, friendly and expediyious, regardless of how many people are in line. I can't expect more. Keep it up.

I went in to send package to my son and his family in New Orleans. The young lady measured the goods and said it was going to cost $140 because I wanted to send it to his PO box. She then told me that sending it to his home would be less expensive. She put in the numbers and said oh it'll cost $200. I was kind of surprised and told her is it $200 more than $140? She then said oh well then you want to send it to the PO box? I told her no I don't want to spend that much. What options do I have oh she told me the only options are two days or overnight. I asked her what about ground I don't want to spend $140. She said the prices are high because it's a holiday. I said well I'm sorry I don't want to spend $140 right now it's too much. She turned off the computer and walked away. I had the package and some old cardboard and I asked the young man standing there if it was possible to leave the old cardboard. He told me no and turned around and walked away. They're very rude. Just to be fair I used to run a mail post so I know quite a bit about shipping. These people were very unprofessional. I'm surprised at the good reviews but then I noticed they're all over a year old. Must be a new group of employees. I will definitely go somewhere else from now on

I went to the UPS store early this morning because I needed a couple of documents notarized. When entering the store there was only one person in front of me. I waited approx 5 minutes for the representative to finish logging a spectrum device and completing another transaction. The UPS representative saw me at the counter with two documents and D/L displayed. He glanced over a couple of times and knew what I needed.While I was waiting on him a few more customers came into the store. It was obvious he was getting busy but still I was next. I waited 5 minutes for the previous customer. But no, the representative said I canât notarize right now I am busy, come back at 11am. I asked a question and he ignored me and ask the next customer how can he help them. ( how does he know 11am would be less busy) hmmmI am a professional with 40 years in senior management at a Fortune 500 company. I teach and train on customer service and customer experience. This young man FAILED today. He was arrogant and rude. He embarrassed me and my race. Also, when I was leaving another customer said â I couldnât believe how he actedâI have contacted the corporate office and will be filing a complaint. He definitely needs some additional training.NOW - fast forward. I went down the street to another notary. I stood in line and her office started to get crowded. She asked me If I mind waiting while she helped customers with a small transactions. I said no problem. Then she apologized to the other customers regarding the wait time to notarize my documents.It was a HUGE difference in customer service and my experience.
