I was astonished and literally blown away to walk into the CVS that I’ve grown so comfortable with in the past six months since moving to Ladera Ranch from Newport Beach. When I walked in tonight, and I saw these huge clear barriers between me and my trusted pharmacist. I was literally having flashbacks from Covid days… I thought to myself …is this a joke? This is unacceptable. I work at Amazon and we are 100% about customer obsession and that is where I’m coming from every day in my mental state. And for me as a customer of CVS, it is mind blowing, mind-boggling, disappointing, befuddling, and unbelievable, that you would actually think that putting plastic barriers between customers and their practitioners that they have gotten close to… It’s that neighborhood feel that has gone away… And what is the purpose of this I asked the pharmacist are these bulletproof glass is their risk in this area. Is somebody gonna come out with a gun? Why are these put up are we back in the Covid days? Why are these barriers here? She couldn’t answer me and the really sad thing is that I could not have a private confidential conversation with her and speak quietly, so nobody else could hear me. In fact I had to speak louder so that all of the other patrons within the Pharmacy could hear me. Whoever decided to put these barriers up and voted on this is delusional. Sorry to be disrespectful, but it is delusional and it is not good for business and I will be bringing my business somewhere else. It’s such a disappointment because there’s so many great pharmacist at this location and it’s unfortunate that now they can’t have that personalized relationship with customers because there’s barriers …it’s just crazy to me And yes, I’ll probably be writing a letter to corporate over this one because it infuriates me to that degree

Management is rude and racist!
My boyfriend came to this CVS to buy me some cold medicine and tea because I'm in bed dying. Unfortunately, he did not have his ID nor did he know he needed it in order to purchase cold syrup. Management yelled at him and laughed at him because he does not know how to speak proper English. Mind you she did not know either. I understand the laws and policy of stores but there is no reason for someone to discriminate and humiliate someone because they can not speak proper English. I'm a frequent customer at this CVS and since it is close to my house I would like to continue to do so since it is so convenient for me but if this type of racism continues I will have to call corporate myself and let them know exactly what type of people they have in this store.

Shout out to the pharmacy team at this store. Every time they are hustling, happy, and helpful. Today though.... I've been sick all week. Finally dragged myself to the urgent care and they sent the prescriptions over. I drove directly there and they were ready when I arrived. It was so quick. Thanks for today's speed and your attitude everyday. You guys are great!

Expect extremely long lines for the pharmacy. Certain medications are always out of stock so after waiting in line, you have to wait again for your medication to be ordered.

Everyone at this store, from Pharmacy to check out, are the friendliest and most welcoming people. I was able to get a Covid booster without an appointment and the staff is always on hand to answer questions and recommend products. I’m a CVS customer for life.

I recently moved to Ladera Ranch and had always been with Walgreens! Unfortunately for me, my Walgreens store on Marguerite closed so, I thought since I was so close to the CVS I'd finally give them a try. This has been one of my worse decisions! I actually was initially impressed at how large the pharmacy was and how many staff members that had, which now means nothing! My first script, took me literally 35mins to pick up. No kidding. I received a text , it was ready, but when I arrived, they had no record of it even being filled. They eventually found it in the ready bin, but I couldn't take it, because they never showed it being filled. Hmmm.... It was eventually resolved. That was mistake #1. #2. On another trip. They tell me my prescription card, which I previously used this year at Walgreens doesn't match my ID. WHAT?! Longer story short. After calling my Insurance company and verifying my information was okay. The representative said, "Oh, we honestly get these kinda calls from CVS all the time" She said, we don't even show a rejection on your account. At that point I called another Walgreens to have them transferred. Better management would do this store good!

The pharmacy is beyond inefficient. You will wait for 30 mins to pick up a prescription. Once you finally get to the window there is zero sense of urgency from the person assisting you. You will see at least 10 cars drive away because they’re frustrated by the wait. Simple yellow lines to help direct drivers on where to wait would be immensely helpful. For whatever reason the main computer they use to see if a prescription is ready for pick up is different than the computer to look at pending prescriptions. The technology is beyond antiquated. There is no point going to a large provider like CVS if you aren’t reaping the benefits of a large corporations technology and efficiencies.

No one answers phone when I was calling to check on my prescription. I had to drag my unwell self out of bed to go directly to the store only to get excuses that they "had 6 people calling in at once". Get some help or answer the phone to let your customers know so that they don't feel like they're being ignored. This is really bad service.
