Diablo Foods is a terrific local grocery store in Lafayette that has been an essential way station for many families for years. It is a smaller store but nice, providing specialty Japanese and Asian ingredients not found at larger chains. The store excels with outstanding service, high-quality produce, fruits, meats, and a wide range of other unique and common grocery items, including an excellent range of wines. Customers enjoy the deli for very good made-to-order sandwiches and hot foods. The store is always clean and bright, with friendly cashiers. The main issues are that parking is crazy and there is no bathroom for customers. Prices are a bit higher than at chain markets, but the store brings a high level of quality.
