Branch manager Katie Peacock went above and beyond to help me with some complicated situations on the spot and without an appointment. She spent over 45 minutes helping change accounts that required legal documents and on the spot notarizations. She made things so easy, I was in disbelief. Highly recommend this local bank -customer service was outstanding and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Katie!

Horrible company, they STOLE my Nissan Rogue Sport 2020 that bought with my cash money at WA State Public Auction. I paid $25,000 for the car, I have WA state title in hand with my legal owner name. I have the keys and the title but no car. Mechanics bank don't care, they don't pick up my calls, and they are hiding my car. They didn't report the car as repossessed as they should have done by the law. So when I filed the report of stolen vehicle, police could not find the car. When I told to the police that the bank stole it, the Mechanics bank lied to the police and send them old not valid title to take down the report of stolen vehicle. I went to the bank office to resolve and they just attacked me verbally and accused me of having fake WA title and stated that Washington state is doing criminal title washing stuff. Then they humiliated me and kicked me out of their property. As of now I lost $25,000 and they won't give my car back.

This branch is great. I have two accounts here and they always remember me when I walk in. Even when I telephone I'm able to speak to a person to get answers and advice. This is a nice change from the endless robot loops when I call my bigger banks. Every time I leave here I'm telling myself to change all my accounts over to them.

I have an account with an online bank. It's great, however there are times when I need handle a transaction offline. The Mechanics ATM allows me to get my business done.

I have to say, as a local business owner, I purposefully chose to work with a 'local business bank'. I moved my checking over when I incorporated and assumed that I would go to them when my needs increased. Well, sure enough, my needs increased (trying to open an office space in Downtown). I went to Mechanic's (of course!) and got directed to someone in finance where they informed me "not to bother submitting an application because they categorically do not work with real estate professionals". Oh, well excuse me. I am an entrepreneur who owns three businesses, I just happen to also be a (very productive) Realtor in town. They have access to all my financials (including a paid off credit card). Needless to say, I will not be doing business with a company that discriminates against me based on my PROFESSION (are you kidding me?). Shame on this bank for not evaluating BUSINESS OWNERS on financials, history, merit and deposit. What a damn shame. Maybe you should make sure they don't discriminate against whatever it is that you happen to do (they have a list, which she rattled off to me verbally) before you decide to bank with this institution.
