I would give them the less Stars if I could I used to go into the shell all the time until the old man that works there was very rude to me he didn't tell me how much I owed him on the register it said 14 and I knew that wasn't right so time to find out it was 25 which was more accurate and when I was counting out the money he just grabbed the money out of my hand and said give it here I was very unhappy about that and I will never go back in there again I'll go out of my way to get gas

3255 Stanley Blvd Lafayette, CA 94549 Okay, whoever said this place has the cheapest gas, he/she posted to the wrong Yelp listing. Yikes! First time I have seen $6 gas in the bay area. But it does have a prime location near the freeway. It's also right next to a high school. It's a spacious station, with an outside restroom. It's located at the start of Pleasant Hill Rd heading north, which is a good bypass to a congested I-680 freeway. I stopped here to use my Shell gas card discount, and it barely helped. Consider this a "last choice to get gas" station.

I had picked up my grandkids from school and needed to get gas. I told my grandson to go get two candy bars one for him and one for his sister. He came out with one and told me the guy charged him $4 for a small candy bar I can't believe it. I will never get gas there again!

Shell gas is never the lowest price gas -- usually about 10-15 cents per gallon higher than other lower priced options -- but their locations are usually clean, the pumps work, etc. This particular location has the added advantage that it's generally very uncrowded.

They close the pumps and lock them during the night. It’s soooo frustrating coming home at 1am and you show up on empty hoping for some gas and the place is closed. Completely unprofessional
