I had a really good experience. It was easy to find and the salon was clean and followed all safety protocols. I got a haircut and facial done by Ms Nilo. She did a great job and is very friendly. My wife said it was the best haircut that I’ve had for a long time. Highly recommended.

Nilo did a wonderful job on my hair! She cut and colored my hair beautifully! I love the results so much. The color is stunning and I am getting a lot compliments. My hair feels so healthy and it is exactly the way I wanted it. She has become my go-to hairdresser.

What a remarkable pleasure to stumble upon this place - and in a personal emergency none the less!!! I came in needing a quick clean up to a side of my head that I have shaved and Julien had me in his chair in no time! In the few minutes I was in the salon (best energy ever) - we had an extremely enlightening and enjoyable conversation, he did a perfect clean up job on my hair and we shared another compelling conversation about his approach to healthy hair. I so look forward to bringing my boyfriend back for bleach and a hair conditioning treatment - I'll be sure to update my review with the anticipated success story for my boyfriend as well! I just felt like I hadn't walked out of a place with such a big smile on my face in too long. Its really inspiring to meet someone who is so passionate about what they do, and the people that he is doing it for. Thanks Julien.... there isn't enough of you in the world!

Groupon or not, I should be treated to the best d service as a new customer. I got "squeezed in" for a 2:30 color and cut knowing that Dianna had a 4:00 Brazilian blow put. She assured me on the phone that it was enough time but to try to arrive early. I arrived at 2:15 and she had a client in her chair. She introduced herself and was friendly but I didn't get seated in her chair until 2:55pm. My time is valuable too! I was concerned that I was going to be rushed due to her 4:00pm appointment or the color would be over processed. I had a Groupon which I spoke with her about as well as to the girl I booked my appointment with over the phone. When my service was finished I was pleased but she up spelled me $70. I told her that this should have been discussed prior to and I feel like this a a business transaction gone bad she's trying to bring in the new clientele and is charging me between $775 Groupon and $70 upscale for color to cover gray. This can't be the first time this has happened. I had a good conversation with her and she felt bad and said that she would reassess her Groupon and Living Social business model. She reduced the upsell to $40 and as much as I loved her work I unfortunately won't be back due to my experienced. Super bummed because the color and cut were fantastic!

I want to start off by saying that Julien the owner of this Salon is one of the best people you will ever meet. I have been going to see Julien for my haircuts since 2012 and loves the way he cuts my hair. I highly recommend trying out Alchemy Salon if you are new to the area or looking for a new stylist. You won't be disappointed.

My hairdresser, Mojan just moved to this salon in Laguna Beach and I have to say, it's a lovely little place, right in the heart of things. Not only is it centrally located and easy to get to, Alchemy provides parking, which is a bonus in downtown Laguna. Mojan is the best hairdresser ever. She does everything herself and I have the best color I have ever had in my whole life. What more could you ask for?!
