“Amazing artist. And conservation advocate and musician. I was able to hear him talk this last weekend about his work, music and see how many people were interested in meeting him. And pretty impressive 47 years at this location. It said no photos of his art inside. So i just took one of his music and the outside. I have always enjoyed going to the Laguna Beach art galleries over the years and the sawdust festival. My mom and dad owned one of his pieces at one point. There is also one in Hawaii where I got the whale tail necklace with my grandmother. Thank you Wyland for bringing the ocean to our family. We love Hawaii and we love art & music.”

“This review is long overdue. Just wanted to express my gratitude towards The Dawson Cole Museum and in particular Jason who made my family feel extremely welcomed during our road trip to Laguna Beach. Not being locals we were particularly excited to come on a weekend of which Laguna holds its annual art walk. To our surprise it was extremely dead in regards to attendance and most galleries closed early that night. We managed to view about four galleries of which we encountered staff who seemed uninterested in engaging with us due to the lack of attendees. Once we reached the Dawson as our last stop the vibe completely changed for the better as we were presented with a great collection of the most unique sculptures and paintings. Jason, who was managing the gallery that night, was extremely inviting and attentive towards my family as he was super enthusiastic to talk about certain pieces. We instantly felt right at home as we were able to not feel the pressure of having to get in and out as quickly as possible. We even got some great recommendations on some local restaurants and bars that we visited that same weekend. I am deeply thankful for the warmth and hospitality of the Dawson Cole team. Thank you so much for making our trip memorable and fun!”

“My friend and I spontaneously stopped in here and each had our Tarot cards read. I had a wonderful, very insightful and encouraging experience. Lila did each of our readings. She was welcoming, confident, and just carried herself with a sense of humble authority. I’ve had my cards read before a few times, so this wasn’t anything foreign to me! But I have never had a reading the way Lila approached it. She is very experienced and intentional. Overall, I absolutely my experience and I look forward to returning when I’m in the area again to get reread.”
“Really enjoyed seeing the art of Dr. Seuss on display! There's so much packed into such a small space -- I saw pieces I hadn't seen before and learned new things about Dr. Seuss. Definitely a worthwhile experience, especially if you've ever enjoyed reading a Dr. Seuss book.”

The installation was showcasing the work of those 50 or older. And what a party it was. Tremendous skill, creativity and potential exists within this storied community! Thank you, Las Laguna Art Gallery, for hosting such a celebration! And, Karen Luker, you rock!”

“I have been to Avran Art numerous times, and I can say, from personal experience with the gallery, that this is amazing place.The layout is open and bright with pieces seemingly curated to harmonize with each other. All of the art is contemporary and original, and just gorgeous - especially the museum quality glass art displayed prominently up front.Insider secret: though the staff won't interrupt your browsing, you should ask them about the artists, visit the back room which doubles as a small office, but is full of beautiful smaller pieces, and maybe even have a peak at their "extra" space. There's a lot to enjoy here, so set aside some time to really appreciate it all.”

“I just came home from my yearly trip to California. I always pay a visit to my favorite gallery in Laguna Beach, Vladimir Kush. The bronze man peeking through the door lock has always made me smile, but this years fixation was The Ocean Roar ❤️. To my great surprise, we now have one in Miami Beach, which isn't far from me. I can't wait to visit there. I hope I will be able to own a piece of this incredible art one day.”
“As always, Peter has a meticulously assemble a gallery. This new rebuild, which I think has been opened since the summer, is quite an interesting proposition. Coordinates wall hanging art and some sculptures with appropriate furniture giving a feeling of an actual finished space that one could live in or even officing. There is even a small hidden bedroom for an example. Quite striking. On this visit he was having one of his spectacular perceptions. Very interesting people, a very impressive bar and food spread branded with small space, but nonetheless a fantastic evening. Peter once again thank you for inviting us and I'll of course be back when it's not as crowded so I can actually look at things!”

“I ordered two bowls for Christmas 2025. When they arrived, the smaller bowl was perfect, however the larger bowl was not even close to what the picture I sent, and the bowl color wasn't correct. Debby was easy to work with, and she sent a new bowl directly to the person I intended it for. It was perfect & just like the original picture. The bowls are so whimsical and cute and both myself and the folks I gifted them too are thrilled!!!”
