This location is great! Ramin, Sara, asieh went above and beyond /thank you so much for fitting my wife and I in with our 11 month old child ( without an appointment) we couldn’t have asked for a better experience/ assistance with our banking and we will be coming to this location from here on out.

I sent two wires to an account at this bank. I had transposed two numbers on the account. BofA declined the wires, so the money was returned except they stole $45 each. Taking 90 bucks for a mistake is WRONG! Sorry about my error, but the $90 seems to be THEFT! Please show the World that you are honest, and return my $90 dollars. Waive your fees. Thank you. If you do, you will be praised here for your quick action. Thank you again.

Incredibly rude staff, don't think I've been treated so poorly in my life. In particular, Kamelia the relationship banker was very rude to me.

Absolutely the worst BofA in this area. They close for no reason. They’re always short on employees. Don’t not bank here.

One star is too many for Bank of America in Laguna Beach. Today I went in to deposit a check into a business account and they had NO TELLERS! The woman who was there could not find my account. I've been a customer there for over 10 years. I'd rather deal with a machine than have to go into this bank and attempt to deal with the lack of humans there.

This place is a complete joke. I have no idea why anyone would use this bank. I won't be any longer. I just came in today and there were no tellers, and this isn't the first time this has happened. I asked them if they were ever going to have them back and they said "Maybe next week" and they were fairly rude about it. There is a Wells Fargo right across the street and they are always fully-staffed so I would recommend going there. That's what I'm planning to do.

Terrible management! I got there when they opened and had to stand outside in the heat with a large group waiting for bank to open the doors. Once inside, I had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to tell me it was going to be another 30 minutes for someone to help me. Will not go back to this poorly managed branch.

Manager and some staff need training in customer service, such as a Dale Carnegie course. I wondered if they have any idea they actually have a client, as opposed to they just need to do their papers to fit the rules. Atmosphere seems sleepy, indifferent and bored. Most branches I contacted were similar, though the Merrill Lynch side used to have an excellent "concierge" service which made a client feel valued. The decorum is nice in this office though.

If I could give this bank a negative number I surely would. I found myself out of state without my ID phone Visa debit card , it was left in a Lyft. So no car either. I had my expired license, business card, Costco card with picture, medical cards, and most importantly they have my signature on file. And they put me through the most horrific Rude time absorbing embarrassing experience I've ever had. I couldn't get to a manager, but apparently I had a teller portray himself as a manager, told me that I would have resolution if I came back a couple hours later. When I came back a couple hours later they had amnesia and implied that I never talk to a manager. The manager avoids assisting people and his minions will lie and distort to protect him From facing a client in crisis. I have been with Bank of America for over 20 years. With numerous fluent accounts. They offered me $100, I ended up writing a friend a check and got additional funds, yet in my crisis they charged her $8 to cash it. I have all my phone and ID and everything back now. They are Lazy with no EQ. It sure would've been nice if they were more methodical with all the information I had and my signature on file and provided me at least a temporary debit card.

So far so bad. I open up an account with cash and need a cashier's check. The machine is broken. They tell me I can't get money for 5 days. I go on 5th day and they are closed at 4pm. I go the next morning at 9am. They are still closed. ITS BANK OF AMERICA. THE BARS, nail Salons, gyms ARE OPEN BUT NOT THIs BANK?? They should have sent a messenger service bring a machine from Los Angeles within hours. People working there are very friendly and helpful. Not their fault.

The worst of the worst. Don't even bother with this location. The employees are useless and inept. Go with a smaller Bank like City National that will actually take care of you and treat you like a human.

From other reviews listed here this bank branch clearly doesn't care how they treat there customers. I have had many crap experiences here and today was the cherry on top. And it came form the parking lot attendant. Screaming at me for running across the street to my work to pee before I went and got money out of the ATM. Mind you I am 8 months pregnant and have a 1 year old. Went I went in to tell the employee they could care less about the terrible experience their clients are having. So this review will probably go unnoticed with the numerous other terrible experience had by others. I'll be closing the rest of my accounts this week and be moving to a bank that actually cares.

Worst customer service ever. Tellers are rude and no sense of urgency at all. I would never open up an account here.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I needed to put several accounts into a trust and get a medallion signature guarantee for another bank. I called BofA's 800#, they said have to talk to a local branch. The Laguna Beach branch does not answer the phone. Made an appointment online, which is a joke - meaningless when you get to the branch. Pretty much first come, first serve and no one had read the comments I made when scheduling online. A trust document that was satisfactory to Fidelity, BNY/Mellon and Chase was not acceptable to the Branch Manager. He said I needed to get another document from my attorney (i.e. pay the attorney). The branch does not do medallion signatures, they send it out and someone else decides approval. 3-5 business days, plus mailing time. Chase and Fidelity provide this service in their local branches. The first person we talked to made all sorts of changes in the computer related to the trust, which took quite a while. Then she took the trust document to her manager. My 93 y.o. mother and I were in the branch for over an hour before the Branch Manger said he needed another document. Service reminiscent of the 1990's or the fast food industry. The bank has their rules. I have mine. I will no longer bank at BofA.

My parents began banking with BofA in Laguna 60 years ago. I too had accounts there. The local people have been great. Unfortunately they are part of the BofA Corp. Bank manager was assisting me by speaking directly to BofA Corp about what I needed to assist in my dad's accounts. Manager got information and documents he was told BofA Corp needed, handed me the envelop and told me to mail over night back east. I heard from BofA Corp two weeks later saying they needed more documentation. The Legal POA was not enough for them. After my dad passed away it went from bad to worse. I moved all of my accounts to USAA. Sorry I didn't do that years before.
