I had a great experience buying a Lyons Comfort Sleeper sectional from Modern Studio. Shortly after I placed the order, John gave me a call to double-check all the details and make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. He even pointed out a built-in storage option I hadn’t realized was available, which was super helpful. He walked me through the shipping process too and was just incredibly kind and easy to talk to the whole way through, making everything smooth and straightforward. Would 100% buy from them again.

5 Stars in every aspect! We purchased a sofa from MSF after 3 months of searching for a comfortable and beautiful sofa all over Orange County and Los angles, literally going to every furniture showroom that there is. Heather (owner) was helpful, very detail oriented and very accommodating to our needs. She has a beautiful selection of sofas. Price is reasonable, lead time is relatively short, and furniture is made in LA. I would highly recommend this store.

Introduction I am disappointed with the uneven customer service I received from Modern Studio Furnishings. Also, my interactions with this merchant, which included placing an order online and downloading their recommended app for tracking my order, might have facilitated attempted credit card fraud. The Crux of the Matter After starting to place my order online, I decided to confirm the item was in stock and could be delivered by a certain date. Because the item was in my online shopping cart, Modern Studio Furnishings emailed me, encouraging me to complete the purchase. I called the merchant. An employee emailed me to confirm that the item was in stock and should be delivered by the intended date. The employee sent me a link to an invoice to complete my purchase. The bottom line on the invoice was hundreds of dollars more than the bottom line in my Modern Studio Furnishings online shopping cart. Not surprisingly, I completed my purchase using the merchant's online shopping cart. I received an order confirmation. I followed the merchant's instructions to download an app to track my order. Weeks passed without an update on my time-sensitive order. When I called the merchant, an employee chastised me for placing my order online instead of using the link to the invoice sent by the merchant. The employee added that the merchant's online division is distinctly different from the division she works in, so she would need a day or two to investigate. This Did Not End Well Four days later, I received an email from the merchant stating that the manufacturer had discontinued the item I purchased and that the merchant had credited my charge card. Later that same day, I received a fraud alert from my credit card company. Maybe it had nothing to do with this merchant or the tracking app that they encouraged me to use. Or, maybe it did. All in all, my experience with this merchant was disappointing.

There was a specific mattress I wanted which I could not find in San Diego. Found Modern Studio on the internet and called and talked to the owner John. He was very knowledgeable on the type of mattress I wanted and he helped me pick out the one that was best for me. Even though I live a little north of San Diego John gave me free white glove delivery and set up. The mattress was delivered in the original time frame given to me and I am sleeping better already. I would highly recommend them for your bedding needs.

I only had a five minute interaction via the telephone with a representative of their sales team. I was given their number and address as customer service for what I now know is a bogus company. Their representative was very professional and shared with me that I was not the only one that had called to inquire about missing merchandise. He also informed me that a bogus company had been using their information to scam people. He was very pleasant and very helpful and I am grateful for our brief phone call.

I love all the modern furnitures in this store. I really wish my husband would agree to invest in these high end furnitures. They're so unique and nice on the eye. Once in a while I just like to go in and dreamAnd everytime I go in Heather would always give me her best sales pitch . She gives you all the info you want to hear and very patient and nice. She doesn't try to push you at all.

Modern Studio (and owners Heather and John) are amazing. We moved into a new home and found the perfect breakfast nook table there---which led to engaging them to resource our new desk, and to design and build our entryway credenza and additional storage cabinet in our office. Their work was consistently outstanding and the workmanship of their products is excellent. Their team is friendly, professional and take great pride in their work--and are anxious to please their customers as well. We highly recommend Modern Studio!!!! Even in a pandemic, we received quality care and service.
