She asked me about my posture, and what are my dealbreakers in a chair. She even grabbed another of each chair and gave me a tutorial on using the levers side by side. I am so thrilled to have picked up a like-new Steelcase chair for less than $300. They even offer a warranty and support on the chair after purchasing. Lupe and Jose went above and beyond by cleaning the chair I picked and helping me load it into my car. “I needed some simple repairs made to my Dyson vacuum. I remembered these guys were located on 17th St., but when I went by the location, they had moved. Then I remembered there was somebody else out on Harbor Boulevard near Home Depot (which was where I needed to go next anyway) so that's where I went. Took my Dyson in and showed the gentleman what needed to be fixed and he said oh those parts are no longer available, you'll need to get a new vacuum, and proceeded to show me a very expensive vacuum that they sell. That made me very uncomfortable so I took my vacuum and left. How can those parts no longer be available? My Housekeeper told me that the exact same problem happened on a vacuum at another house that she works at a couple months ago and they got it repaired. Now I was more determined than ever to see if I could get mine repaired. I found out where Type-o-Meca moved to and went there. Turns out not only we're they able to make the repairs for a very reasonable cost, it was ready sooner then expected and looked as if it was fully reconditioned (super clean). I have no problem giving this place 5-stars and will definitely go back when the need arises.”

“I had a broken laptop that needed parts ordered and replaced/repaired. I called the manufacturer and they provided with me a couple of certified local options for repairs. I called 3 of the recommendations. Avacom stood out from the first phone call, as Barry was very informative and accommodating. I was able to take my laptop in that same evening. When I arrived Barry explained everything I could expect best case to worse case, as well a estimate of pricing that would be associated in either scenario. It's tech....unfortunately computers, TVs, phones, become obsolete in a very short period of time. I say that because you can't always tell until you get the computer up and running or diagnostics to know the extent. Barry assured me he would contact me as he learned more and he did! He would call to let me know what he found to be wrong, when the part(s) were ordered and expected, what cost to expect. I would absolutely recommend Barry and Avacom Computer Services.”
