“This auto shop was recommended by multiple community groups on Facebook and I went here a few months ago to get my Honda serviced. Great customer service and prices. The mechanic even showed me up close the damage I had done to my car and explained exactly what had to be replaced and done to fix everything. I appreciated the insight and seeing the problems he pointed out. I thought I just needed my break pads replaced but I had worn in my pads so badly it caused a lot of damage to my car (it was obvious after the mechanic took the wheel and parts off and showed me). So I had to get more replaced than originally expected but it was definitely needed. Would recommend this mechanic to anyone, will go back again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I visited this shop to remove a nail that I had in my tire and they removed it for free. They also reported to me issues that I had with my struts that I could already hear going out in my car. I appreciate that they informed me about that and I appreciate their thoroughness. The removing of the nail in my tire was done quickly. Another plus is that as you wait, you can walk across the street and have a bite to eat at all the different restaurants. And the staff was friendly and professional.”

I took my Subaru to the dealership (I know) for a simple oil change. They claimed oil was mixing with the coolant. They wanted to tear down my engine for $3,400 just to “find the issue,” and said it could end up costing $5,000–$7,000.
Thankfully, I had my car towed to Tony’s Automotive instead. They actually ran a real diagnostic, took the time to explained everything clearly, and were super transparent. The cost was significantly less, they saved me thousands of dollars and told me they didn’t even see the same issue the dealership claimed. Even without an appointment, they got all the work done within a day, which was amazing. They also offered to recheck my car for free a few weeks later, which they did today in under five minutes. Everything looked great.
As a young woman who doesn’t know much about cars, I can’t say enough how much I appreciated how respectful and honest they were.

Jim and his team did an excellent job, explaining in a straightforward manner the repairs to be accomplished, and charged a few ofair price for his work. From what I observed he was quite professional in his dealings with myself and other customers!”
“I got estimates From Honda for my van and Ford for my Mercury. Then I went to Dana Point Automotive as they had won our town's Best auto repair for many years. So thankful I went to them. Honda told me I had to replace the timing belts, replace power steering pump, repair leaking transaxle. Those repairs were over 3 thousand dollars, and that did not include the AC compressor, or the AC evaporator. Eric at Dana Point Auto said the transaxle was not leaking and nothing wrong with the power steering pump. He replace a hose and an O ring for $25 versus the 1000 dollars to replace the power steering pump at Honda. Eric said the AC evaporator was good and did not need to be replaced. So my total bill was a fraction of what it would have been at Honda. I took my Mercury in and encountered the same situations. I was told the transaxle on Mercury was leaking but it was the transmission oil cooler. He did a complete service on the Mercury at a fraction of what the quoted charges at Ford were. In this day of not being able to trust anyone, it was most rewarding to encounter an honest businessman. They are not the cheapest, but Eric does not pad the bill, and most importantly they do not fix anything that is not broken. I think Dana Point Auto rightfully earns the award of Best Automotive Repair Business in Dana Point. I am a 37 year resident of Dana Point, CA. Patrick. My vehicles run like new and no leaks. “I took my car to super service of Aliso Viejo after visiting my usual and favorite car dealer for some repairs. My regular dealers price was in my opinion much higher than I felt it should have been. Afterwards my son called Super Service and everyone there was very polite helpful and inviting I got a little lost on my way there and was late for my appointment still they took my car in and had it back to me before the end of the day The price I paid was considerably lower than my dealers quote. While I live in San Diego--I got a nail in my tire and had to pull off the freeway. After attempting Firestone (3hr wait) I googled tire shops and found this plaza full of auto shop options. Walking along all the other auto shops in this center--Horacio was the only place that had a person at the front counter ready to hear my need.
He drove my car around to take a look and came back in the lobby 15min later and said "done!". I was impressed with how quickly he got me back on the road. After a short conversation I found out Horacio and his family run this business with integrity and heart. I look forward to referring friends here and highly recommend bringing your car here.”

I came in with other repair orders I was given from other shops but thankfully, they told me they’d diagnose it themselves. I can’t tell you how RELIEVED I was.
