We bought our tickets on line, parking wasn't too bad as we arrived at 9:30, parking cost was hourly @2.50. Line to get in got pretty long but we were in the beginning of it. I went straight to the pottery and put myself on the list, they had a cancellation and I got right in. I loved "throwing a bowl" it was so much fun, watched "Muffin" blow some glass, she was working a heart that was for a senior that her husband passed away and was provided some of the husbands ashes and added them to the glass, it was so beautiful. I will provide a picture of her card so you can check out her work. It was so awesome to watch this process. The hot cocoa was so delicious it had some extra cinnamon and was amazing. Lived looking around at the artists creations! Magic show and pictures with Santa. We plan to come every year and make it an annual seasonal trip. I recommend this event to anyone!

Lots of great artisans selling lovely pieces of art and jewelry at reasonable prices. Good music, good food and things for the kids to enjoy, too. Come early for convenient on-site parking.

The puppetier was the BEST! The simplicity of the show, and the awe on the kids faces. The parents loving the older music. Joe was just magical. I met him after the show and you can tell he really loves what he does and the reactions he sees and feels from his audience. Taking my grandkids back to see him before the winter fantasy ends!

I love a good festive event especially this time of year. And Sawdust Art Festival during the months of Nov-Dec is as festive as can be. Puts you into such a warm, joyful holiday spirit. Only open Fri-Sun.I would like to especially thank the city of Laguna Beach for providing FREE trolley rides to and from the festival grounds. Park at Lot 16, super convenient and the trolleys run continuously. Trolleys were decked out in garland and wreaths. There are a few other free lots to park at because Lot 16 isn't big and I can imagine the lot being full during peak time periods. My family and I were here on Friday, November 24 around noon and we probably got one of the last 15 spots available.Adult admission is $10 and seniors $7. We spent about an hour walking around checking out the decor, taking pictures/videos and browsing the many different local booths selling their handmade goods. Most booths sold paintings/framed photography. Kids can visit Santa, play in the adorable gingerbread house (cute photo op for adults too) and there's even a marionette show for kids young & old at heart. Not too many food choices but there are a few casual restaurants located outside of Sawdust. Typical burgers, hotdogs and chicken tenders sort of thing inside Sawdust. This isn't an all day festival but it's a good stop for your day at Laguna Beach. I can imagine coming here at night is even prettier as there's 'snowfall' and everything is all lit up.

The Sawdust Art Festival was our accidental date night over the weekend. My husband and I intended to go down to the beach that afternoon to watch the sunset. We decided to park in Lot 16 for free and took the trolley. What we didn't know that the trolley only stopped at the Sawdust Art Festival this time of year. It wasn't an issue since we didn't have firm plans and decided to walk around. Also, luckily for us, as South OC residents (with valid ID), we got in for free after 3 pm. Otherwise, adult admission is $10 per person. You can get discounted admission through various means like AAA. We walked in and saw that it was decked out for the holidays. There were two live music stages. There are places where you can order food and drinks. The art festival is a village of booths where local artists sell their creations. This includes paintings, sculptures, drawings, bags, jewelry, glass bowls, etc. It's an interesting place where you can go gawk at different pieces and contemplate if you want to spend your money. It's a cute place to bring a date and one of those neat things you can do in South OC.

Over the years, the Sawdust Art Festival has become one of my favorite traditions for both the summer and winter fest. My boyfriend and I made sure that we planned time to visit CA for the winter fest this year so we could purchase unique Christmas gifts.I love all the artists that are at the Sawdust. Each of them are talented in their own way. I love the Sawdust!

It was $10 for adults to enter for the Christmas pop up that they have on the weeekends. There is a wide variety of art, ornaments, cards, photos, pottery, etcThere is a glass blowing demo that is quite popular. They have a band playing music which gives everything a good vibe. They have several different art station throughout the day where you can make ornaments, pottery etcIt took me about 1.5 hours to look through everything. They have food and drink available for purchase.Parking can be a little bit hard to find, I parked on the street with the meters which was cheaper than the $20 event parking .

I grew up in Dana Point in the sixties. Lived in Oceanside from the 70-90's and never got to the Sawdust festival. Finally at 68 yrs of age I got my daughter, high school friend and brothers to join me. Nice drive up the coast. Parked right in front, nice! Got in free for my military ID. What an interesting place. Met one vendor that knew a friend of mine from Hollywood. Found art for Christmas gifts. So much to see and what a variety of work. Music playing, good food though more seating is needed. I loved that there was one vendor giving children free pottery lesson and they got to keep their work. I wanted to do it since I have not spun a wheel since college. They also had a wine tasting but we were ready to leave. I loved the section that showed photos from the past years. Such an enjoyable day. You must do this at least once in your life. So another bucket list item checked off. July 12, 2023

$10 adult entrance per adult. Got there about 11am and parking was available. The Art fair is small but set up very tastefully. Food options are inside with seating. You can also go to the brewery less than 50 yards away. Definitely worth the drive and cover.
