Great staff. Easy to get in and out of. Rarely anyone in line. A hidden gem really. The building is super rustic for architecture nuts like me. The hours are a little odd but hey, its a small town thing.

I love this tiny hidden gem. True, it's been neglected. But what USPS isn't these days? It's lousy with bygone beach funky charm. Not to mention you can see the ocean from the parking lot. Architecture aside, It's the people that make or break a business. I had a wonderful experience with a postal clerk on duty. He was helpful and kind. To me that's a big reason to return. It's clear he loves his job, and it shows. Don't go if you're in a rush. Instead, go because you need to slow down. You know you do.

Went in this morning to mail two packages. Signs everywhere saying you must wear a mask, and yet the clerk working there was not wearing one. This made me extremely uncomfortable. Shouldn't he be setting an example for everyone else in a time like this? I will try to avoid this post office moving forward.

The most wonderful and happiest stress free mailings I have are in the South Laguna Beach Post office with Jamel Blackmon, USPO CLERK. He not only informs his customers well, but he adds so much with his amazing stress free & kind personality! Thank you Jamel!!

One block north of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) is this Virginia Way Post Office that is charming and in need of an Architect to restore it with care. Parking lot is ample for residents and those checking their P.O. boxes.

One block north of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) is this Virginia Way Post Office that is charming and in need of an Architect to restore it with care. Parking lot is ample for residents and those checking their P.O. boxes. Built during the Johnson Administration and greets patrons with pretty blue trim and historic post boxes. This location in South Laguna is easy to miss---as some would say its' in an alley and others would say its' on a rustic street. A fresh coat of paint and could surely bring this little “historic†location to life. Small lobby (full of character) and is from the Johnson Administration. I am not sure why this charming post office is not on the National Registry of Historic Places.
