Two decade Citi Credit Card holder here. Worst experience ever booking through their new Booking.com travel rewards web site. In the past I was provided clear details on what was purchased. Specifically any upgraded packages. After booking through Citi Booking.com I get none of those details and know way to verify what was purchased. Also, two separate confirmation numbers making a round trip flight look like two separate one way flights versus the old way that had one reference number. Had concerns this morning my flight for tomorrow was wrong as they put me in basic when I should have been in premium. End result was another $200 on top of the $628 I've already paid. Last years flight cost me $450. Now I'm paying almost double for a flight I booked over a month ago because of missing information on the final bill. Booking.com has some of the worst reviews out there. Just look at Consumer Affairs. I myself had to file a dispute with Citi as a hotel had turned my 80 year old mother away because the power was out due to hurricane Ian and then tried to charge me $500. Citibank, you've ruined your travel rewards booking site by doing this.

Citibank has had multiple data breaches with customers data over the years. do not let them scan your drivers license!

I'm only giving one star because of the gentleman across the room who acknowledged me when I was standing there for a few minutes. There were no other people in there, and the lady (who,unfortunately, I didn't get the name of) was on her phone the entire time. She was the only person in the front, but didn't realize I had walked in. Once she heard the gentleman welcome me, she said she couldn't help me with my transaction (which I understood) but when I asked her for more information about where to go, she rudely told me to "look it up on my phone because she didn't know". Again, I tried to understand why she'd say that, but she could have asked a colleague, or been nicer.

I was at this bank today asking for help regarding how to sign in to view my credit card status and some other issues, a gentleman in the bank (don't know what's his title/position) help me patiently and remained polite manner from start till end, his name is: OMAR LANDA, I like this guy!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent customer service experience at your branch.During my interaction with Teller Azita Khaghani, I encountered behavior that I found to be unprofessional and discourteous. Unfortunately, Teller was quite rude throughout the transaction, and her tone and demeanor were not in line with the expected level of customer service.As a customer, I believe in the importance of respectful and courteous interactions with bank staff, and I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed during my visit. The banks website says they have good savings rate, so I want to find out what is the rate and open an account with them. No one answered at the branch, my call was transferred, took over 20 minutes to get to a person but I couldn't understand a word she was saying, so I asked what country she was in, she said it was in the Philippines, then she said she couldn't understand me also. Then she put me on hold! What kind of service is that? I would never want to deal with Citibank again!

Place is a joke. I've cashed multiple checks here in 2023 over $5k and all of a sudden today because I'm now a customer, they can't cash the check anymore. I run into issues with them all the time. Oh and the check I'm trying to cash is from their own damn bank.

Beware Investment Advisors at Citi. Last Dec 2021, citi branch setup my mom to get investment advise. Advisor Anna persuade my mom to invest all her svgs into a Franklin municipal bond fund. Less than 1 mos, the fund dropped over $5k, and by 5th mos, it dropped $16k more than 11%. Noted my mom is 81 yrs old, do not speak English, and has NO grammar school, not any investment background. I filed a compliant to Citi investigation team. What it came back was she was in suitable investment because her tolerance level is "moderate", and investment knowledge is "moderate". How on earth does a 81 yrs old widow evaluated as "moderate" risk + experienced investor? Then I find out the decision of "suitable fit" was based on "new acct form" she signed. Anna asked my mom signed an open account form (in English), computer-typed by her, ck box "moderate" investment exp, and moderate risk. So my mom never knew what she signed, but was told in chinese that it was an open account form.I was present, and I did asked "shouldn't we wait until next year because Fed is increasing rate, and wouldn't this bond fund goes down?" Anna replied, she followed this fund over 20yrs, and it is very safe and will go back up eventually if it goes down one year. So far, my mom has lost $16,000 over 11% in this fund within 6 mos. And I later find out citi advisors receives commission from clients and being year-end, advisors must be desperate to meet quotas. Also, Please be aware there is no such thing as "Compliant dept" because there is no person's name who email you nor contact phone no. (Only they can talk justify they're right, but you can never talk to anyone! ) When you call and file a compliant, they take your compliant and after 1-mo reply your email with some ridiculous excuses that your investment is right fit, it is just your bad luck investing on the market. BE AWARE OF THE AGENT, "ANNA L"She service Arcadia, Irvine, SG valley. I had to trace her 3 branches to find her#.

Honestly! Hate to give 1 star. Lisa is the most helpful, agree! However, Citibusiness online, tokens, etc., are the biggest hassle with this banking institute. Their #1877xx customer service number is the worst. Always have been w/pandemic makes it even more obvious. It's like Ft. Knox trying to get any support, task accomplished...terrible, terrible...consider Well's Fargo much nicer & easier to work with esp., for businesses. They're online banking is user friendly. Citibank is the worst, hands down...:(
