I received Lake Forest Home Care's name from the Hospice Organization we joined (Silverado). Mayra and the owners responded immediately and we were able to have home care started in just 24 hours. They were wonderful and also responsive to changes in the level of assistance we needed. I would highly recommend them to any other family in need.

I needed a caregiver to help with my mom, who had suffered from a stroke. I contacted a few agencies, and Lake Forest Home Care was the only one that met all of my needs in order to be able to take care of my mom. The response time from the first phone call to having a caregiver at my home was very impressive. They were very polite and explained everything in detail . The caregivers were very compassionate and very punctual. I'm very thankful for Lake Forest Home Care for being there when I needed them the most.. L

We all want our loved ones cared for, respected, and treated well and Lake Forest Home Care offers exactly that. The staff is always helpful and responsive. Never in my life have I dealt with a more inept business than Lake Forest Home Care. We utilized them for a total of four months for my elderly mother's care, and make no mistake about it, I terminated them because of their horrible, awful accounting department that screwed things up every step of the way from beginning to end. To this day, I have yet to receive copies of the billing statements they sent to our longterm-care insurance. I had contacted Lake Forest about obtaining the billing statements no less than 15 times, by phone, by email, by text, etc, and I even contacted the owner. To no avail. Ask yourself: why would a company decline to send me, the client, my rightful copies of billing statements they sent to the longterm care insurance company? What are they hiding? Not only that, they charged me a $1,530 deposit that they sat on for three months before cashing it out of the blue without notifying me, thus draining my checking account by surprise. Then when I finally terminated Lake Forest Home Care (in writing, per the contract), they refused to return my deposit because there was still an outstanding invoice that hadn't yet been paid by the insurance company, even though it was the last and final invoice from a month prior that normally would have been paid within a week. Turns out, the insurance company DID pay on that final invoice and had mailed Lake Forest the final check, but the inept accounting department had failed to include a forwarding address to their new office location, and the check was returned to the insurance company undelivered and unopened. (Lake Forest Home Care didn't notify the postal service of their change of address either.) It took another month for that check to finally be paid, all because of Lake Forest Home Care's continuing ineptitude coming out of their accounting department. When they got paid on that final invoice, I finally received my $1,530 deposit back from Lake Forest. I went straight to the bank to cash it, only to have my bank reject it because Lake Forest's inept accounting department forgot to date the check. Furthermore the stub on the check was addressed to the insurance company instead of to me, even though the check was written to me. Just another day at Lake Forest Home Care. This review is in no way a reflection on Natasha, the office girl who was always so helpful and positive. But unfortunately, Lake Forest's inept, dysfunctional accounting department is a poor reflection on this agency. I told them in no uncertain terms I was terminating their services solely because of the BAD, rude, inept customer service coming out of their accounting department. In no way should Lake Forest Home Care be subjecting clients to the rude customer service and constant mistakes of their accounting department. I shouldn't have been forced to have to talk to that accountant, who has zero customer service skills, every time there was a problem. I am angry that I have yet to receive copies of the billing statements!

I contacted them recently, and all the staff were very helpful when I was looking for a home care. It is great when you have good customer service. Thank you so much for being so patient and kind.
