My puppy got a hold of a baby possum yesterday morning, the Lil guy was still alive but couldn't use its back legs. Rather then just take him to my nearest animal shelter just to be put down I called around and found Linda who offered to take him in. I'm really happy I found Linda and Denise who offered to help take the baby possum to Pacific Wildlife Project for me. Thank you guys so much for caring about these animals and all you do.

The Pacific Wildlife Project is wonderful!! I have couple of other experiences with them before but this time, it was all about a mourning dove that had hit our glass door and looked pretty dead. Amazingly, after about an hour, it got to it's feet, and despite a pretty bad looking eye injury, it seemed like it might make it. I called the Pacific Wildlife Center, kind and efficient as always, left a message, got a call back within minutes w the contact information of a local dove expert, who answered the phone and gave me directions to her place. All this within ten minutes! When I got to the dove lady, I said, "Do you think it lost it's eye?" She replied, "I don't know yet until after I clean it up." Music to my ears because she so sounded like she knows what she's doing. As she lifted it up, she even called it "sweetie."

We had an injured crow in our backyard. An emergency Vet pointed us to Pacific Wildlife Project. We found the staff volunteers and facilities to be excellent and are so grateful to Pacific Wildlife Project for taking care of this crow, we hope it has a speedy recovery. Special thanks to Dave, it was very nice to meet you. Thank you Pacific Wildlife Project, we were happy to donate $50!

I found an orphaned 2-3 day old baby squirrel/rat/opossum (?) and had no idea what to do with it. I found this place and just dropped in on a Saturday morning and the man couldn't have been nicer! I was so grateful he took the baby without hesitation and was going to care for it. HE restored my faith in humanity! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!❤

I noticed a large bird, a Raven, on the ground outside my home and it was there for quite while in late evening on the ground. As I got closer saw its left wing was bent and the bird could not fly. I Instant messaged Pacific Wildlife on FB to get advice and see if someone could help as there are coyotes in the area. Got advice and even better a volunteer came out the same evening, even though it was late, and captured and examined the bird finding it been shot in the shoulder. The volunteers specializes in rehab of Ravens and Crows and knew how to remove bullet and get surgical help for the raven so could not ask for better aid. Wonderful organization and volunteers! Highly recommend if you find a wild bird in need of help!

I found an injured hummingbird at around 8:00 one night. I didn't know what to do with it so I called the Pacific Wildlife Project. Someone on the phone told me how to make the bird comfortable and she said that she would try to reach a volunteer as soon as possible but a volunteer would probably not be available until sometime tomorrow since all of the volunteers work. I got another call 20 minutes later from a volunteer. She told me she would be happy to take the bird off my hands that night. I ended up giving the bird to her at around 9:20 at. night. Fastest response time ever. Also best service and nicest people ever!

Thank Heaven for Linda and the Volunteers at Pacific Wildlife Project. To have a place to take an injured Morning Dove I found in my Dana Point neighborhood was such a blessing. We need many more kind and caring people such as these people around. I am so greatful that I look forward to donating how l can and offering my time to volunteer in the near future. Abundance Blessings to this Organization!

My family and I found a northern flicker on Christmas Eve with a broken wing of some sort. We got into contact with the Pacific Wildlife Project and they were so incredibly helpful. Linda is absolutely amazing and helped me make sure I was doing the most for the bird through messaging and calls. Just the next day, I met another great volunteer, Cathi, who took the bird to their LA location. They've already sent me updates and I am so incredibly grateful for all they do. It's clear they care so much about these beings and I appreciate their spirits
