This is my new home gym. I was excited when I heard it was opening. Its been open a month now. The manager is awesome. She is nice and helpful. I think her name Melissa. Briana is super helpful. I had an issue transferring my membership. She took care of it in just a few minutes. Super helpful!

I hate working out here so damn much!!! There are literally people sitting on those equipments and do nothing but use their phones to record me without my permission!!! I need to get the manager’s attention about this serious criminal problem here!!!

This place needs some new equipment. They have too many of the same machines. They also don’t have the machines I prefer to use at all the other PF gyms. It’s a 2 story gym and the second story is just more treadmills. There is a lot of bad reviews on customer service here and how the manger has horrible customer service too which throws me off. The staff were super friendly when I went the other night but I was only there the last 30 mins before closing time. This location is closer to me than the Lake Forest location so I wanted to try it out and now I know not to come back. Get some new equipment and take some of the repeats out and it would make the biggest difference.

Overall a nice gym. I always bring my clients here to train and there is a decent selection of weights/cardio equipment to use (I am a personal trainer.) The weight room is small however and I think they need to expand it more as it is almost always crowded.

I am never one to write a negative review but I believe the situation I just encountered should be addressed. I called the Laguna Niguel location at 11am on 02/29 and I would like for management to pull that call to hear how I was spoke to. My husband is in the military, just deployed, we have a two month old baby and I just moved across the country by myself. In that chaos we forgot to cancel his membership before leaving. I was requesting his membership be canceled which I was told could not be done - I had previously done this years ago at a different location and was told since he was in the military it was no problem to cancel over the phone so that was the impression I was under while calling. I did not push back on the situation but was then berated about how I should know the contract and they can’t just keep doing this for me. That is no problem and if that’s the policy I completely understand. What I do have a problem with is how nasty I was spoke to. I love planet fitness and I have been a member on and off for 10 years across the country due to moving so often. I have never experienced such nastiness with anyone who has worked there and hope to never again.

Tyler, Conner and all the rest of the employees are wonderful! It’s great to be greeted every time I walk in, and wished a good day as I leave. It’s always service with a smile!

New to this location. Not sure if I will return. They keep the temperature freezing cold. I went in the evening two times so far. Tonight the temperature on their thermostat read 63! Nicest staff, but manager must be saving on heat costs at the expense of the members.

IF YOU LIKE A LIBRARY SETTING, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. GOD FORBID IF YOU EXHALE TOO LOUDLY ON YOUR LAST REP. YOU WILL BE APPROACHED BY STAFF TELLING YOU TO KEEP IT DOWN. IF THE EMPLOYEES SPENT AS MUCH TIME WITH A CLEANING BOTTLE & TOWEL AS THEY DO MONITORING THEIR MEMBERS IT WOULD BE A MORE ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE. OVERALL EQUIPMENT IS GOOD BUT A CLUB DOES NOT NEED TWO PIECES OF SAME MACHINES. IT WOULD BE NICE TO SCALE BACK ON REPETITIVE EQUIPMENT AND GET NEW EQUIPMENT THAT CLUB IS LACKING. THERE IS AN OVER ABUNDANCE OF CARDIO EQUIPMENT, IT WOULD BE NICE TO CUT 1/3 OF THE CARDIO EQUIPMENT AND PURCHASE NEW WORKOUT MACHINES THE CLUB LACKS. THERE IS NO FREE WEIGHT BENCHES OTHER THAN 4 SMITH MACHINES. SO IF ONE LIKES FREE WEIGHT BENCH OR SQUAT THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. OVERALL THE MONTHLY PRICE IS RIGHT FOR WHAT GET. I KNOW THIS COULD BE A AMAZING CLUB IF ONE TOOK THE INITIATIVE TO CHANGE A FEW THINGS TO ATTRACT NEW MEMBERS.

Tyler, the manager, is a liar and really rude, demeaning and disrespectful. He claimed that someone talked to him about me dropping a weight, but no one went up to him. I was on a machine by the entrance and would’ve seen if someone did. He CUSSED me out and claimed someone else talked to him about my conduct on a day I wasn’t even there in the gym. On top of that, for a dude who claims to be all about following the rules, he let a 6’4 white guy wearing a stringer (not allowed according to the guidelines) into the gym. He was also slamming and dropping his weights (which doesn’t bother me but does go against the rules), but Tyler did nothing. Why does Tyler allow this white guy to wear attire not allowed in the gym and slam his weights while I accidentally slip off a machine once and I get cussed out? I don’t know other than discrimination. It’s also worth noting that I’ve been to several other Planet Fitness locations multiple times and have never had any issues.
