Tilly's encourages people to review products they have purchased, but if you leave a 1 or 2 star review they will not let it appear on their website. This is not specific to this store but to their general online store. I have been burned by that website too many times now so I am posting this review on as many of their locations as I can so consumers can be aware that the reviews on the site are not honest. They also conveniently leave certain details out of product descriptions. Buyer beware.

Old guy with long grey hair has terrible customer service. Just rude and seemed like he didn't want to be there.

The people working at this location supply the best customer service assistance. I was really impressed by how Karen helped me pick out some shirts today. She was so friendly and helpful. I walked in and was immediately greeted. I was looking for a shirt I saw online and Karen located it immediately. They were very kind when I unfolded a couple other shirts to look at but I didn't want them. Karen and another gentleman said, no worries, unfold as many as you like, we are happy to have you take a look. I found several shirts and was asked if I would like to try them on to make sure I liked the fit. The gentleman reserved a dressing room and kindly put the shirts I was carrying around in the room with my name on the door so I could look for additional items. Thank goodness they suggested I try them on as I would have purchased the wrong size. They immediately found a better size for me and I decided to buy 3 instead of 1. I will definitely return to buy more items. I didn't realize Tilly's had such nice adult summer clothes. Thank you for the amazing help today.

It's just an OK location. We were completely ignored at the checkout whilst a new employee was coached by a seasoned employee on how to use the phone. No eye contact. No acknowledgement that we were standing there waiting. This is basic customer service at any establishment. Once we were helped, they were great.Edit: losing a star because of a messy store, and at least one moron employee who doesn't know how to wear a mask. (See picture).We've since returned several times and they're definitely improving. Returning their stars to them.

Standard Tilly's store and best when you don't interact with the employees. There's a Karen working here asking others if they needed help but not me, probably because of my race or how I look. She then stood on the opposite side of the rack I was looking at for shirts for a hot minute, just there...standing - didn't say anything to me, no greeting and kept walking by me but didn't say a word except kept giving me looks.I go to get rung up with a young girl with dark hair here today and told her I wanted to use my military discount. I showed her my veteran identification and she says she wonders how many people pretend to be in the military. I told her that's illegal and I'm not sure, as I am a veteran and don't have that issue. I felt like she tried to act like I was one of those people because I am petite, asian and had makeup on. I am in my 30's, but I look like I'm in my 20's so yeah. I feel like if people have nothing nice to say then don't say it, it isn't necessary especially if you work in CUSTOMER service.Idk, it was an awkward experience and unwarranted. Just run my transactions and keep your bias to yourself.I got the sense the workers here think they are extra special and also felt the prejudice/bias. Not the best experience. That's why I just come in and walk out, keep it simple every time I visited before.

I went to return some clothes that my son bought from a Christmas gift card he received today. I went up to the counter to make the return/partial exchange for the pants and he immediately made the return and put the refund on the gift card my son used originally. Which my son of course no longer has because he used the entire gift card at Tillys December 26. When I then advised the gentleman behind the counter that he just refunded it to a gift card that my son no longer has because he used the entire thing at Tillys on December 26 he then told me he would call someone to see if he could reverse it. He called someone 30 seconds later told me sorry I can't reverse it I said well then just I don't even want to return the pants my son I would rather have two pairs of pants than nothing because you just put the refund on a gift card that we no longer have??? since when you typically use a gift card in its entirety at the store you purchased it from you don't normally keep the gift card after. He then told me there was nothing he could do and I could contact MasterCard for assistance once again I don't have the gift card my son was given for Christmas he used the entire thing at Tillys now has nothing to show for it because they wouldn't even give me a store credit rather than refunding a gift card that's been thrown away since December 26 after shopping at Tillys. I will never ever ever shop at Tillys again the customer service was beyond horrible. What kind of a store refunds a gift card wouldn't they ask if you would like store credit or what card you would like refunded or how you would like your refund? There is no way now for me to get my son's gift card money back and the pants have been returned so he basically spent $100 gift card at Tillys for two pairs of pants we returned the pants now he doesn't have the pants or the gift card any longer thank you Tillys for the wonderful Christmas gift. I have no idea what kind of a store would decide that this was the right thing to do clearly they could've done something to make sure my son didn't leave with no clothes no sort of a refund that he could actually used to purchase other clothes that he would like

Made a return. They gave me store credit on a gift card.. great. Went to use the gift card and there was nothing on it. The poor staff is not trained which is not their fault but I lost $40 because there was also no trace of my return even though I used my email. Fun cheap clothing but make sure you will never return it.

Bought three pairs of vans slip ons. Two for older son and one for my younger. When I realized I ordered the wrong size they couldn't exchange it and only gave me store credit. When I called customer service they said it was buried on the disclaimers on their web-site. First and last time ever shopping at Tillys. Looks like we will be going back to Nordstrom.

Dont order anything from Tillys if you have it shipped to your address. They use Ontrac, a ripoff delivery service. You wont get your package, they mark it 'delivered' and steal it. Dont believe me? 1800+ Ontrac reviews just like this. Why would Tillys do business with these crooks? Is this how to treat your loyal customers, Tillys?
