“You won't believe this act of kindness and a god shot of customer service. Rented trailer in Tucson - great experience. It was a motorcycle trailer that was used for a purchase of a bike in California and bring back to Arizona. I was staying Dana Point, Ca. When I got to the hotel no room for the trailer - WOW - Bummer. I called Cindy at the San Clemente U-Haul ``310 E Avenida Pico, San Clemente, CA 92672 - we will store it no charge- their hours are to 7:00 p.m. Driving from Green Valley 7 .5 hours in the rain and arrived at 7:01. I was greeted by Ashley with a big smile and said Cindy said you were coming. I brought them bagels and cream cheese this am -- for their kindness. Trailer stored 1/22 to 1/27. I hope someone in upper management tells Cindy and staff that they are an untouchable example of customer service. Customer of U-Haul for 30 years - Gary B”

“I moved recently and needed to rent a van on two days in December - the 23rd and 26th. I was pleasantly surprised by the service that I received and the convenience scheduling they had so close to the holiday. This is a small local business and I'm very happy that I was able to support it.I met three people and all three we're outgoing, kind, and helpful. I was met at the road when I returned the vehicle and didn't even have to go inside. I received my receipt via email in a very short period of time. The billing was spot on and I really appreciate that they didn't waste the paper of printing everything out.I also want to point out that other reviews have a lot of hyperbole around the fact that there is a dog at this location. Bella (the dog) is probably one of the best trained canines I have met. She's a sweetheart. She's running around with a tennis ball in her mouth and trots up for a pet. I really can't State strongly enough that there is nothing frightening about this dog.Now with regards to parking, this business is located in an urban area and there is limited parking on the street. It's very limited. My opinion is that this is normal for this type of area. The other shops in the area also have limited parking and I have never had a U-Haul place that had unlimited free parking. So to put it simply, plan ahead.I want to thank the staff for making my two days of hauling and renting the pleasant experience. Anytime I need to rent a truck, this will be the place that I go.”
“Getting the truck was a little tricky over phone, nothing too crazy though. However, once I got there, Eddie was EXTREMELY helpful. We had a storage unit right next to Budget that had super tight alleyways and my first time driving it, to load up the storage unit, it took me over 30 minutes to maneuver the truck. Eddie volunteered to drive the truck for me and help get it into the storage place. He made everything so simple and was incredibly helpful. It may not seem like the most upscale workplace but old school values and thoughtful work ethic is something that isn't seen often anymore. Thanks for all your help Eddie.”

“Specialty boxes were very expensive and my mover would not box large 65inch TV unless I had those specialty in my house.A nice service, that was offered at a additional price, was delivery of large TV boxes. My car was too small for these boxes to fit, so home delivery was convenient.”
