“We were coming up the mountain when a large cloud of smoke came out behind us. We used AAA and Mountain Towing came out as soon as possible to bring us and our car home. Dan showed up a little earlier than expected was very pleasant professional and knowledgeable.
I was reading some of the reviews here and found them unreasonable. This is a difficult job anywhere and going up and down a mountain is even more challenging.
I’m grateful we had such a good experience overall.
Also, I’d advise against judging a tow truck company based on AAA wait times. I mean their partners sure but they have other things going on besides just waiting on calls coming in from AAA.”

“I just moved up here 3 wks ago to the San Bernardino mountains (Twin Peaks) and I’m still getting used to these mountain roads. I recently had a bit of a scare. 2 wks ago I spun out (luckily not on an edge!) and afterward my car just wasn’t driving the same—super bumpy and clearly in need of a tire balance. To make matters worse though, I didn't even realize this, until about a week later—after I had already spent a whole day driving around L.A. like that, which I know wasn’t good for my car. I drive a 1995 Pontiac Firebird with only about 71,000 miles on it, so I try to keep it in the best shape possible.
After looking around, Snyder’s Tire Works stood out right away—they actually answered the phone (unlike some other places I called) were super responsive, and gave me a fair price. My tires were also overdue for a rotation, so I had them balanced and rotated at the same time. When I showed up at the time they scheduled, they had me in and out in about an hour. Since I’m new to town, I even had time to walk around and get to know the area while they worked.
The car now drives smoothly again, and I feel confident knowing I've found a trustworthy shop in the area. I’ll definitely be coming back for future work. Five stars without hesitation.”

“Super honest mechanics, brought my BMW for a diagnostic due to hearing clunking noises from under the car, they initially told me $40 for putting it on the lift and inspecting it which is already way less than all other shops, then after inspection, the told me it was just some loose bolts that they tightened and only charged me $20!!

“Absolutely outstanding—honest, kind, and rare!
Chris and I had one of those stomach-dropping moments yesterday while checking the oil on our BMW: the oil cap slipped and fell down into the engine well, completely out of reach. Panic set in fast.
We’d never been to Sarellano Garage before, but they’re less than half a mile from our home, so we very slowly drove over—with a rag temporarily standing in for an oil cap and our fingers crossed.
From the moment we arrived, they were incredible.
With smiles on their faces and zero judgment, they immediately stopped what they were doing to help us retrieve the oil cap. They never made us feel stupid (even though we definitely felt that way), just calm, capable, and kind from start to finish.
They solved the problem quickly—and then charged us $25.
That alone tells you everything you need to know. They easily could have charged a couple hundred dollars. They didn’t. And when we realized we only had a credit card, they were literally going to let us leave and come back later with cash.
Instead, we ran to the Cedar Grand Market ATM, came back with cash and a variety pack of M&Ms (because we didn’t know which ones they’d like), and a very big thank-you.
Honest mechanics are incredibly hard to find. Kind ones even more so. Sarellano Garage is both. Skilled, fair, humane, and genuinely happy to help.
We still can’t believe that such an amazing, trustworthy mechanic is within walking distance of our home. This review is part of our thank-you—because they truly saved our bacon, and they did it with joy in their hearts.
If you’re looking for an honest mechanic, stop looking. These are your people”
