“This store is a treasure trove of fossils, crystals, gemstones, and dinosaur items that is presented in a mythical museum sort of way. A really fun place to explore with lots of educational displays that were fun to experience. They sell bags of duck food for $1 which we took advantage of and enjoyed sharing just outside the shop with the plump ducks floating in the water. Near the entrance there were rows of semi-precious gemstone rings in an open display with price tags of $270 or so, which seemed odd to me because 1) if they were truly worth anywhere near that, they would not be out in the open like that and 2) I have purchased rings of near identical design and quality for $40. Perhaps the tourists pony up for these without knowing better? Either way I truly enjoyed the store and ogling their merchandise. It's a popular & fun place to take your out of town visitors.”
“John is an incredible artist and a deeply kind soul. It’s always a pleasure to see their shop! During Top Town’s Fall Festival, he made beautiful sketched portraits for folks enjoying the event”
“Elise is a sweetheart!!! Great service, pricing and return time. Had my sons gold chains fix and my husband medallion off his chain rebuild less than 3 days back. Close to home and helping local businesses in our neighborhood. Thank you once again!!!!”
“This place is great! It has a little bit of everything, little knick knacks, and more, love the detail work on homemade items! Give yourself enough time to walk around the store because you're going to be there for a while. ? The sales associate was awesome! I believe her name was Sarah. I will post photos next time I go.”
“This mountain nursery may look modest from the parking lot, but it is brimming with plants, shrubs and trees in multiple indoor and outdoor sections. Village Nursery is a feast for the eyes with carefully thought out placement of its plants that gives designer vibes while also boasting reasonable pricing. There are whimsical bits of garden decor sprinkled throughout the outdoor shopping areas, with considerably more inside in their 'boutique'. I was able to find handmade ceramic mushrooms for $19.99 that are identical to the $60 ones we would buy at the Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival - such a deal! The plants are priced well for the mountains (these nurseries tend to be higher than down in the flats) and what is appreciated is that Village Nursery only stocks plants that are appropriate for the climate, unlike another local nursery I won't mention. There is a nice gift shop inside on the main floor that sells handmade textile ponchos and rugs, and attractive gifts that would work well for mountain friends. For the first time this past weekend I discovered they also have an upstairs clothing boutique featuring what I believe are handmade designs from India that are either bejeweled or otherwise adorned. Such a fun place to shop!”
“This place is amazing and the owner is cool too. So many great things here to see and buy. I recommend if you are in town in Crestline/Lake Gregory or even in the San Bernardino Moutains come by and check it out! It has antique phones, collectible Ty Teenie Beanie Babies, dinosaurs made from metal, skateboards, classic antique guns (not for sale), vintage shirts like Van Halen, Toy Story memorabilia and much more.”
“I called 4 different coin shops asking what they paid for generic silver rounds and all 4 shops offered less than spot. I called this place and it was the only place that offered over spot. Best price to sell your silver/gold. Previous reviewer doesn't know what he's talking about. Roosevelt dimes are less expensive than Mercury dimes. If you don't believe me, go to SD Bullion and check the prices (in fact, check eBay). He's honest with his evaluations. I will definitely return here to sell my silver/gold because he offers over spot. Call around to other places first and you won't see anyone offer over spot prices.”
“Bob and Sam are great. Bob is completely unpretentious and very warm and welcoming. He can do just about any custom or repair work you'll ever need. He should be able to, he's been in the business from the 1970's. Prices are great too. Totally worth the drive!”

“Craig is great! I have had jewelry that was dear to me repaired multiple times and he’s so talented and trustworthy that I would definitely recommend him hands down.”
