I had the pleasure to work with NJBM and Michael who runs the operations. I moved from a complex living facility in the Americana which required a white glove approach to situate the insurance and move. Michael was able to make that happen very easily. It's clear this company is professional and puts customers first. I was able take my expensive furniture out of a big condo and put into my new house without any damage or problems. Thanks again.

Very professional and friendly movers, as well as staff. They kept in touch as moving day approached, and sent a great team to wrap up my furniture and also work quickly. Definitely recommend!

I had to move into a studio apartment on very short notice, and they made an excellent move in less than 2.5 hours. I would highly recommend nice Jewish to anyone moving home or office furniture. Thanks again!

I cannot speak more highly of Michael and Nice Jewish Boy Moving & Storage. This is the first time i've used movers (i've always just roughed it with friends and a U-haul), but I am so glad I was referred to this company by a number of friends who have used them. Communication was thorough, the moving team was quick with packing, taping, blanketing, dollying everything in and out of the place i was leaving/into my new home, and most importantly, they treated my belongings with the utmost care. I will never not use this company and will definitely recommend to anyone who needs reliable movers.

This place is owned and operated by the same people who own Father & Son Moving & Storage Company. They operate out of the same business address and have the same employees. Whichever you use, you are getting the same service. With that, I recommend you read the reviews at Father & Sons moving company. Below is my review: I have never had such a horrible experience with a customer service oriented business. This moving company was hired to move my belongings from one apartment to another in the same building with an elevator. From the start, the men were rushing and careless. They did not wrap any of my furniture. As a result my glass dining table has a deep scratches, my coffee table is scratched, the material on all four chairs was ripped and the wood bottoms of a couch and chair were scratched across the bottom. One television had only the cover of the HD plug attached to the television. In addition, the men were extremely inappropriate. When they walked in, one asked me whether I lived with someone. Later, he asked why I did not have children. He also told me that I should be with someone - whether a man or a woman. When I reported this harassment to Mike, the owner, he told me that this man has been with him for years and is happily married. He has since referred to the harassment as a "personality conflict." The other man asked me if I get high and said that I should. Although I was not moving everything, the men grabbed things to move without asking. They put a mug with water in it, a phone and breakable items on the comforter which was on my bed as they were starting to roll it up as if were a moving blanket. When I went to the apartment that I was moving to, I found my comforter and sheets on the floor in the bedroom. The handset to the phone was missing. When it was time to pay, I gave my credit card. One of the men called the office to run it and Mike told the man to ask me if I was tipping them. I was then asked to sign a piece of paper and to check off boxes about their performance. One man stood over me & pointed to the best performance box & told me to check it. My experience with the owner since the move has been even worse. I reported all of the damage to Mike and sent pictures. Mike insisted that the couch was not scratched across the entire bottom but rather that it looked like I had damaged it with a vacuum cleaner. He sent someone to touch up the damage to the wood. Even that person said that the scratch was across the entire bottom and not from a vacuum. Instead of taking responsibility, Mike told me that he would pay me $50 for all of the damage. After representing that he would compensate me for damages if I filed a claim form, Mike paid me $150. After I posted a Yelp review, Mike immediately called me and left a message repeatedly stating that my review was unfair because I took his $150. Hours later, he wrote a untrue and aggressive response on Yelp. He also sent me an email saying that he wanted to pay me. I did not respond. SEVEN MONTHS LATER, Mike sent me yet another email saying that he wanted to extend an olive branch. He went on to tell me personal problems which was odd as I have NEVER met this man and had no personal relationship with him. He said that he wanted to compensate me for all damages but offered me substantially less. He wrote that accepting the money would require that I remove my Yelp review and agree not to post on any online forum. He described it as a "win win." To him, "win win" means that he pays 30% of what it would cost to replace what he damaged and I am require to withhold the truth from the public. I rejected his offer. Because I refused to take down my review, Mike has defamed me (called me delusional and a scam artist), lied and accused me of trying to extort money from his moving company. Look at the other reviews. Mike responds to negative reviews by saying that posting the review is shameful or disgraceful, that he is being extorted & that he is only required to pay 60 cents a pound regardless of the damage

Oh my gosh. I used this company last summer, and I'm so glad I texted the entire experience to a friend, while it was happening, so I don't forget any of it. First of all, what you're quoted and what you're charged, are vastly different. And honestly, you could do a LOT better renting a truck and going down to Home Depot and hiring a couple of the guys standing around in the parking lot. I think that's how this company gets their movers anyway--at least, on my day. And they don't pay the movers a lot. The guys running the company pocket most of what you're charged. So, here's my experience. First, I was quoted $600 for the full move, since I was moving some furniture from my small office (which was down the street), picking up some large pieces I bought from another apartment (20 minutes away) and then the majority of the stuff would be from my house (10 minutes away) all going to one final location. They were only able to complete half the move (the office and the apartment, and nothing from my house) because even though I told them the location of my house, the company sent too big of a truck and the driver used their own GPS instead of going the route I told them. So, the truck broke down on the steep incline that comprises the back-way shortcut. Then, for a total 3.5 hours of work, I was charged for a minimum of 6 hours. But instead of the $600 I had been quoted for the full move, I was charged $760 for only half the move, and I was told if I wanted the rest of my stuff moved, they would come back on a different day, with a different truck, for an additional $500. So, that's now more than twice what I was quoted. $1260 instead of $600, if I want them to actually finish the move. The movers worked their butts off for those 3 hours, but I think they only got paid about $80 each for the day. At three movers, that's $240. So, that's a lot of profit going to a company, who's trying to double their quote at the last minute, who sent a truck that couldn't navigate the terrain, and who only completed half the job. So, the moving company pocketed $520 for doing nothing, other than not keeping their word and answering the phone. Although maybe that's their fee for driving down to Home Depot to round up movers for the day. A minor annoyance that still continues to annoy me, there was some damage to the furniture, one of the cabinet doors hangs weird and doesn't close anymore, there's nicks and surface damage, but by the time I noticed and the movers offered to have me fill out a damage report, I was so pissed about getting raked over the financial coals by this company, and the unfinished move, I told them to forget it. It wasn't the movers' fault that the company didn't train them or give them the proper equipment. I wound up with my ex having to rent a U-Haul truck, and borrow friends to help, (especially a friend who had a pick-up truck), and we did the rest of the move ourselves, over a longer period of time. I could have saved a lot of money if I didn't go through this middle-man company. If you're looking to move locally, and you don't want to hire from the parking lot at Home Depot (which is what you're going to get anyway, if you hire Nice Jewish Boys, despite their name--at least, that's what I got), another option is to contact your local high school -- sometimes, they raise money for their sports teams by helping people move. Why didn't I post this review last summer? Honestly, I didn't want the moving guys to get punished by the company. I figured I'd wait until they moved on to other jobs, to post a review of what happened. It's not their fault that this company has shady business practices. Maybe they should change their name to Hand-In-Your-Wallet Boys.

Excellent service all around. Communication was detailed and ongoing from the initial call. Our movers arrived on time and worked tirelessly to move us in the face of multiple logistical challenges including narrow doors, stairs, small spaces, and limited parking. The team was professional and courteous. Thank you for getting us to our new home!

I initially found these guys by other yelp reviews. I spoke with Michael , who came out the next day to give us an estimate. We agreed on the price for them to do a full pack, move and unpack. The packers came out on Tuesday and had our 1600 square foot house packed in under 5 hours. They came the next day for the move. Had the truck loaded before noon and the offloading done by 4:30. They came back the following morning to unpack everything and put it in place. I think what helped make it all go so smoothly was we had the same crew for everything. The guys were curtious, careful and thoughtful. All of our belongs were well packed, and they were very efficient. If we ever need to move again, I would call then back in a heartbeat. This company did all they could to keep the stress of moving to a minimum.
