The service here is always great . I come here almost 2 times a week this store on saticoy in Van nuys ca is always clean, neat, and the staff is always helpful. All the managers here from top to bottom are always sweet and kind, willing to help all the time. Some of the people that come inside this store are so entitled and rude to the staff . I have seen it in action myself . I feel bad sometimes for these associate . They do not get paid enough to deal with all the entitlement, rudeness, and aggressive behavior from some of the people that come in . This store and the staff are 1000 in my book . Thanks for everything .

Recently I was diagnosed with COVID. My doctor office e called in the prophylaxis medication which I was told they are out and ordered it for me. This was fri, they said it was supposed to be in today, Sat. Nope it never came in. Do they not realize how dangerous COVID can be and by the time they get the medication, I probably won't need it. Kaiser never had this issues, when ever I got a new prescription it was filled. But this pharmacy its ALWAYS we don't have it, we have to order it. So I am suffering, feeling horrible with no medication. Oh also I got cough syrup and wanted it delivered bc why I have COVID and im supposed to be isolating. I went in, masked, and asked them why wouldn't they deliver it. I was told delivery stops at 11am. WTF, this phmarcy needs to seriously change their practices so we get the medication when we need it and two we can have it delivered bc we are isolating. Also I bought COVID test kits and the instructions were in nothing but Spanish! Like really?? I don't read Spanish!

I went in to grab a pack of water. They had a wonderful sale but 1 get 1 free. Dennise was working the floor and allowed me to use her cart to take my water to the register. She then pushed her cart all the way to my truck. Great prices and great service

The female cashier with the arm full of gang tattoos was very disrespectful to my disabled mother when asked for a shopping cart. They had dogs from another customer peeing in area near food products. Manager must be a member of a across the border d ug cartel when we reported the cashier for her rudeness. I fell sorry for that rite aid company their hiring practices will be a real revenue loss for this company.

There is a racist employee at this store! My husband (who is Latino and speaks English as a second language with a thick accent) shared a very upsetting experience with me that happened this morning. The system froze when he tried to insert his card to pay, so the employee grabbed his card. Then, instead of handing it back to him after she swiped it, she threw it down on the counter aggressively. When he asked her why she threw it instead of handing it back to him, she replied that it wasn't her job. He replied that maybe that wasn't the best job for her and then said "your customer service sucks" to which she then replied "your English sucks!" I wish I knew her name but she was short and had tattoos on her arm. I am appalled and disgusted at this employee's racist attitude and that Rite Aid employs people like this. She needs to be fired!Update: I found out that the name of the employee who treated my husband like dirt is Inge. Apparently she is the store manager. I can't believe she gets away with treating customers this way!

I'm not one to do reviews, but this employee definitely deserves 5 stars. I recently went into this Rite Aid because my local store finally closed. I had been sick for a couple of days and knew it wasn't enough to go to the Dr. But my mind wasn't all there to even think straight. Tara was amazing and helpful. She took the time to guide me and show me, literally walked me down the aisle of where I needed to be. Great customer service is so hard to find now a days, ...and it definitely needs to be appreciated. People are usually rude and always in a rush to go nowhere, Thank you, Tara! I hope your detailed customer service is appreciated not just by us, the consumers but also from your employer/management. Big box stores need more employees with great morals and values.

I'm only giving one star because 0 is not available. Rite Aid pharmacy is the worst at filling prescriptions if they don't have it they don't tell you for days nor do they help you find it .I've been chasing my prescription for two weeks and all they say is we don't have it we don't know when we're gonna have it and no we can't call other stores to help you find it.Thank God it's not a med that saves your life!!!!!!!

This place is great. They have lots of stuff on sale as usual. Very good prices for common products. Definitely a go to place for all your backyard parties. The one star off is for some of the workers. They are not always very happy to see you. But overall we are happy to have this business in our neighborhood.

I was going to SavOn in the Albertsons on Saticoy. It was painful. They were just terrible. Things were wrong all the time, I’d get over charged, the staff wasn’t great. Finally I gave up, I had all my RXs sent to this RiteAid and I have never been so happy with a pharmacy. Friendly, efficient, NICE, easy to deal with and FAST. While I do not know the pharmicist’s names, they are always helpful and great. I often get rung up by Raj and he’s delightful!

The head pharmacist manager of this location remedied my first experience with Susan. Classy and professional. Since this location is so close I'm glad they have a great lead pharmacist.

I have had only frustrating experiences at this pharmacy UNTIL tonight. My doctor sent over a prescription that wasn’t covered by my insurance (TWICE!) and the wonderful lady ( I wish I got her name ) working the pharmacy called my doctor after the offices were closed and requested that they send over a prescription that my insurance actually covered. She called me at 9:30pm, as soon as my doctor called, 30 minutes before the pharmacy closed- to make sure I had time to come in and pick up the prescription before bedtime. Thank you so much for the over the top help tonight!!!
