I love salsa and beer with a burning passion, I would use a salsa and beer shampoo if they had it. I’d probably drink it too. The salsa bar makes me want to start a bar fight with how bad I want their salsa. I love you mr. Salsa and beer, xoxo see you next time.

Good food, but they disconnected their phone number. Guess they were getting too many calls for pick up.

VERY EXCITING NEWS for anyone like me who loves the white queso "cheese dip" found at the midwestern mexican restaurants we grew up at, but could not find anywhere on the West Coast -- SALSA & BEER HAS IT, only it's known here as "Cream Sauce" and you need to order it as a side (it's not on their menu as a side but they will do it for you for $3.) If anyone from Salsa & Beer is reading this: You need to make the cream sauce a standalone item on your menu as a cheese dip for the chips. There is a large population of people like me who will flock there for it. Just call it cheese dip and put it in the appetizers section. You will not regret this.

I ordered (chicken) fajitas but instead received 2 chicken breasts with melted sour cream. Waited several minutes for our server, but never came (chicken breasts getting cold). I asked another passing server why the chicken wasn't sliced and she told me it was because the original server probably entered their sizzling famous "chicken with crema." She then told me she would have it sliced and took it away (chicken getting even colder). By the time she returned, the chicken was sliced but now "very cold." I feel the only authentic part of this Mexican meal is the title of this review and the names of their dishes on the minute. No exciting elements and just very basic -- unless you like sitting in their parking lot patio, with buzzing insects and bees, loud music, a language barrier, cold food, terrible service, + an additional 3% charge when using all credit cards and ApplePay, then this is your go-to place...

nah seriously fvck this place and fvck elizabeth. this is the worst held establishment. i tried to call this place twice the first time the girl told me to hold and hung up, i didn't think much of it at first (maybe she's new) so i called right back and she rerouted my call every 5 min and kept putting me on hold. The second time she did that she was like "salsa and beer please hold" and i responded "umm ive been on the phone for 10 min" she clicked on me. I KNEW SHE HEARD IT. but as soon as my dad called (a man) she took his order with no hesitation. elizabeth is the reason im never gonna even consider or recommend this hell hole again. the way she is isn't for customer service.

Salsa and beer has become a STAPLE in me and my girlfriend's life. We eat here almost 1-2 times a week!!! The staff is sooooo nice to us even giving us fist bumps when we walk in lol. The food is the best Mexican food I've ever had. And it's never hit or miss....its always good. Don't even get me started on the bean dip. My girlfriend has to eat hers quick because once I finish mine.....hers is mine.... The environment is so friendly and aesthetic. People complain there's a little smoke in there because of Fajitas but come on people.. they cook every meal to order so of course it's gonna be hot and Smokey. I support this place with all my heart.

We’ve been coming here for many years as it’s right in our neighborhood. This place used to be great, but ever since Covid it seems it’s gotten more overpriced and mediocre every few months. The quality of food really varies every time we visit. Sometimes the bean dip is watery and other times they asada is burnt to a crisp. The portions are also inconsistent with the to go orders, with the small cups of bean dip being less than half full. Lately, the servers seem rushed and disrespectful at times.

Came here very hungry and thank goodness we did. We were quickly seated and given our chips and bean dip within a minute. I opted for the carne asada and my partner wanted a chili relleno burrito which wasn't on the menu but the staff accommodated and made one! Great service and food came out very quickly. Portions were HUGE, could barely finish half!

Always delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive even though we were the party in the back room. Had the fajitas and mango margarita. Both were excellent!!
