Poor customer service. On Saturday 2/3/24, I visited BofA at El Toro branch. Stephanie Supervisor & teller would not want to accept the deposit I had because the bills were not sorted by denomination. After letting the supervisor know that all other BofA accept the deposit even if the bills are not sorted. After discussing with them, they accepted the deposit. The supervisor told me that at this branch customers have to bring the bills sorted by denominatio..This are the rules at this branch. The teller and supervisor took their time to sort the bills and then verified the deposit was correct. The attitude af the teller and supervisor shows on the rest of the tellers. This is not the 1st time I have issues at this branch.

This review is for Bank of America, not this branch. Wells Fargo took a little over an hour to do the exact same thing that Bank of America says will take 3 weeks!! Even when we thought it was all done they messed up on my phone number and it takes 3 days to change it and you can’t withdraw funds during that time because even if you’re in the bank with ID they have to send a code to your phone! No notory at this or most other BofA branches. Emily at this branch is good to work with but everything has to go through corporate so she’s just the messenger. We are dealing with inherited trust accounts and will be moving to another bank ASAP. We will never bank with Bank of America. Too antiquated and too slow! Worst bank I’ve ever worked with.

Long lines and the branch is not willing to add cashiers even though there are 10 customers in line.

Horrible customer service. Line out the door and one teller. A couple suits walking around doing nothing. They don't know how to be tellers.

Oh this place is baaaaaaad. There's this dude tryin to take his moms last retirement dollars holding up the whole line. A Yankee fan is yelling his conversation to the teller so everyone can here his mundane main character conversation, and a foreign lady converses with another banker as he repeatedly repeats how many points a certain credit card get in one to one air miles and she just can't get it. 30-45 minute line when you walk in and no one can do their job on their own. Portly staffed considering we're next to hospitals and senior center where these people move their money around constantly.

They froze an account because of suspected fraud, which is fine, but they would not unlock it until they completed an "investigation." After more than a month, they still would not unlock the account. Service is horrible and the employees are incapable of independent thought.

I can see why this branch has such low rating now. The girl at the check-in desk is quite rude and has show zero sympathy. I wish there were other branch with same hours nearby so I don't have to put up with bad service. Bank of America uses to stand for quality and great service, those were the days.

I went to this Bank of America local branch today looking to speak to a banker and was told to make an appoiment to come back the next day because no one is available and it was just for a personal account not even a business account. I went there last year, and was told the same thing that no one is available. No wonder Bank of America is closing down on a whole bunch of local branches. Lesson learn: only go there to deposit cash and withdraw cash. It doesn't make sense to have the branch open but don't have the staffs to service the customers, might as well close down the branch and just put up an ATM machine to save the rent money. Gone are the good old day where you can stop by the local branches and get your questions answer from very knowledgible staffs.I ended up having to call the Automate line to get help with the account and received wrong information and sadly, it came from the Bank's manager. Last resource, I filed a report with the BBB. Below is the content.I have 4 bank accounts with Bank of America: three Adv Tiered Interest Chkg accounts with one of them being the Preferred Rewards Gold, and one Money Market Savings and was told that I have to maintain a $5,000 minimum on one of the Adv Tiered Interest Chkg account and an accumulated $10,000 minimum altogether. I have satisfied this requirement since 2017 and the accounts had not incurred any fees. Suddenly, Bank of America started charging a $25 monthly maintenance fee on one of the idle Adv Tiered Interest Chkg account the last 4 months (Feb, March, April, and May 2023) by automatic withdrawal of $25/monthly. I called Bank of America, spoke to a few customer service staff members including the managers, and was told that she can only go back to 90 days, and only refund 2 monthly maintenance fees instead of four. Bank of America’s manager claimed to have notified me via mail although I have signed up for paperless many years ago and didn’t received any hardcopy letter, email, online banking messages or alert. Bank of America failed to notify and inform me that they has automatically unlinked the account and changed the account type from Preferred Rewards Gold to just regular Adv Tiered Interest Chkg account after they reviewed the account last year and declared not eligible although the account has been set up that way since 2017 and didn't incurred any fees. Bank of America told me today that Preferred Rewards Gold required a minimum “3-month combined average daily balance of $20K.” If I was informed of the changes, I would select a different account type so it would not incur any fees. Due to the account is idle so I have no knowledge that Bank of America has been automatically withdraw the $25 monthly fee until recently. I request that all 4 months being refunded which is a total of $100 not $50. It's not a good business practice to ambush the customers by making changes to their account and then automatically withdraw fees from the account that is not frequently used. Those were the wording used in the complaint, and then I found out that the Bank of America’s manager must have given me the wrong information when she said that only 3 accounts can be linked together; therefore, one of the Adv Tiered Interest Chkg accounts which have less than $5,000 is not allowed to link to the other 3 accounts. And since this account stand alone must maintain a $5,000 daily balance. According to the Bank of America website, there is no limitation on just only 3 accounts and the Preferred Rewards Gold is automatically enrolled if the account met the $20k daily requirements and will be disenrollment automatically if become unqualified, but it doesn’t affect the $10,000 minimum accumulated requirement and the customer can use the Preferred Rewards Gold to satisfy the fee waiver requirement.

Walked into the bank with my 93 year old grandfather. Had to get his PIN number changed . Told by the over paid manager that she had no time for us to go to another B of A . B of A lives up to its name as the worst bank to deal with .
