I recently rented a small storage unit to hold several boxes and some camping gear that I needed to store temporarily. About a month ago, the building had a sprinkler leak and there was a very slight amount of water on the floor of my unit. I was contacted promptly and encouraged to come check out my belongings. Fortunately, most of my items were in plastic tubs or were items not affected by moisture (camping cots, etc). The company that did the water cleanup/disinfecting repacked the items that were in cardboard boxes into brand new boxes for me. I compare this with another storage unit in RSM that I rented for several years. They had a significant flood that put several inches of water in my storage unit. I had to take a day off work to come clean and repack everything myself. Their staff seemed annoyed that I had a lot of questions about my damaged items. I didn't end up getting any sort of compensation, and they raised my rate right after the incident. Glad to have found a better storage facility!

This is my second year of storing my RV in covered storage at this facility and it's been a great experience. When I decided to move to another location within the facility that was shaded all day Justin Choe was extremely helpful finding the right spot and completing everything efficiently. Great customer service here.

Everyone at Extra Space have been so kind to us as we have been working onsite with them to solve an issue! Matt the store manager is so awesome to work with. He was very calm through this whole situation and made working together so easy. Justin has a heart of Gold and wears it on his sleeves and really is awesome with his customers and truly the best. Zach has been so helpful. They all work under Brian which has made this process so smooth. He was very easy to talk to and was completely available when needed. Hopefully this does not happen again but if it did we can all solve together!

I'm embarrassed to say I've had this storage for 3 years and have absolutely loved the treatment the staff have provided me. They're always available when you need them. Great job!

Amazing customer service and incredibly helpful. I had a renewal for a unit and the Service Rep Justin was awesome and able to help me. Great place to do business and much appreciated.

The team here at Extra Space in Lake Forest have been amazing to work with. Hala got me setup in no time and gave me a tour of the property. It’s very safe and the large units have really helped my small business grow! Matt always makes sure to meet my businesses needs and has been instrumental to the little things that make leasing a space here very pleasant! Kyle and the rest of the team always show up with a smile. Highly recommend over other storage options in the area.

Have used many different storage places for Lat twenty years or so, ESS goes far beyond expectations and what I’ve experienced before. Clean, organized, friendly staff and great rates. Highly recommendable!!?

Justin is quite friendly, and he helped us a lot in getting the storage, maintenance, and support. His attitude is professional, and put he goes above and beyond to provide the premium service. I do suggest working with him if you need help with storage.

Great location , clean and great staff very helpful. Great ingress and egress. Gates are open from 6 am to 10 pm seven days a week.

Great stay here for a last min need storage unit! Knowledgeable and friendly staff! Glad the hours of storage access are well beyond others in the area. That was a huge selling point for me the access hours. Manger Matt and Justin are super helpful!

The guys (and gal) in the office are incredible and friendly. Super well-maintained and for the short stint that I needed it (~6 months), the price was great for the size of space. Never had an issue!
