The owners are incredibly nice, the staff was super welcoming and helpful. This place has such a inviting and niche vibe. Vendors were delivering fresh food to the store shelve during the visit!Mercado Laguna has a wide selection of fresh foods, fine foods, and is really a step above as far as quality offerings. If you are hosting a dinner party this would definitely be a place you have to stop for the wonderful variety of accompaniments that are available. It has a surprising amount of variety for the small footprint.There is also a section of the store that has cute knick knacks, party favors, decorations, and baskets. So it's pretty much a one stop shop for hosting events and classy parties.If you are in the area or live near by, make some time to stop by. It's worth it.”

“Today I went in with the soul purpose of buying the Sprouts brand honey ham from the deli for my lunches. I like my ham shaved and I wanted a pound to last me a week for my lunches. After waiting 10 minutes to be noticed at the deli counter, a woman came to help me. When I asked for what I wanted another older lady told her that they could not slice that ham for me. So the girl that was helping me showed me to a shelf where they pre slice and package the ham and said i could buy that but not get the amount I wanted and that they don't shave the pre-sliced ham so I would have to have the normal cut. I told her I had just gotten this ham shaved for me last week and the guy did it without hesitation. The Ham is, after all, on display at the deli counter. She said some people do it but she would not. So I decided i would just get the pre sliced ham because I needed it. After checking what they had on the shelf, ai noticed that all of the ham expired in 2 days and were all only a quarter of a pound. I wasn't going to buy that and decided I would just go across the street to ralphs and get ham shaved the way l like it and fresh. On my way out i asked for a manager to let him know how his deli staff had acted and that I had no options because I wasn't going ti buy a product that is about to expire. I wasn't looking for anything to be free. And I was nice about it. I just thought he should know. He was immediately upset with hearing what had happened and said that was unacceptable and that there is no rule that they cannot slice the meat for me. The deli staff was just being lazy. He went and got me my ham at no charge. That was amazing customer service by the assistant store manager!! I was not planning on returning but he has made it so I will give them a second chance. The 5 stars is for the assistant manager and the cashier who told me she was glad I said something because they have been getting a lot of complaints about their deli staff. Here's to hoping the deli will stop embarrassing the store and fix their attitude and customer service skills”

“The good:I came to get food for my toddler to eat because she wouldn't eat what we had for lunch at a nearby cafe. I got green beans, potato wedges, macaroni and cheese and penne pasta from their hot food bar and got a peanut butter and coconut health cookie bag (brand was called Emmy). The cookies were delicious and soft. My toddler ate all of the foods I chose. You pay by the pound ($11-12 per pound) so I was able to mix small amounts of everything into a sampler box. The workers were friendly toward my kids. The bad:My toddler didn't like the cookies for some reason. This location is smaller than your average Whole Foods so the hot bar is also smaller and there are fewer registers. The green beans could've been cooked a little longer. The interesting:They have multiple entrances on opposite sides of the store.”

“My new GO-TO for cold pressed juices. I used to be a hardcore Nekter fan (probably for the reason that it was the first detox brands that I discovered), but after Pressed Juicery came out, I decided to try them out. Pressed Juicery (imo) has better tasting juices and uses more "unique" ingredients (i.e. yuzu and charcoal). The main reason why I converted to Pressed Juicery was because of the proximity of location and price of products. The prices at Pressed Juicery a lot cheaper than Nekter. Money does matter sometimes.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!UNTIL THEN!! ^-^”

“I've been a very long-time fan of Pressed Juicery, now called Pressed, since it began in Los Angeles, I'd say over a decade. When I discovered that there's a shop super close to me, I jumped at the chance to check out this location. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted with a huge smile, with extremely helpful staff. It's been a while since I've been to any Pressed shop, so I was surprised that my information was still in their system. I came in to purchase low-sugar to no sugar juices, and I was happy to know that they have a small selection to choose from. It's been that long since I've walked into a shop, I didn't know what has really changed, besides their name. The shop was clean and nicely maintained. They don't sell those insulated bags, that I used to have, but I still like their simplicity of a concept. I purchased 12 juices from them, and I drank them all within a week. I certainly enjoyed them all. The juice quality could be a little better, for the prices they ask, but I'll return in the future to this location for the excellent customer experience.”

“Whole Foods is a very nice, very pricey, trendy grocery store and more. It caters to the people in this very beautiful community. The produce is very fresh and of high quality. "Healthy Food" is the term often associated with markets like this one. It has a large selection of specialty items, such as gluten-free, fat-free, unsalted, and others for different dietary needs. It carries many items that are not available in the more common grocery stores like Ralph's or Vons.It is a fits well in this community. The personnel are polite and helpful. There is a very good selection of beer, wine, and liquors plus a small eating area. Their prepared meals are excellent and made for easy take out, although I do not recommend the pizza. The breakfast bar is excellent, but priced by the pound so be careful loading up your choices.I highly recommend this Market and would shop there more often if it was more affordable.”

“The lines for checkout can be long if you go after work between 3-7 pm and after and before the lines are reasonable. And they go fast. We recently had a problem where we ordered pizza in the app. However that does not get communicated to the pizza department. So if you want a pizza you have to order in person or call. Overall well maintained and well stocked clean and bright store.”

“Best place to get a really good cake for an inexpensive price. The fruit tart, berry Chantilly, and strawberry shortcake are all delicious! The double layer 8in berry chanilly is one of our go to cakes, when we have a large group. The baker can write on the cake for you. Some of the bakers are nice, some not so much. The single layer 6in cakes are tiny. Looks like it's good for 1-2 people. HAPPY BAKERYING”
