My wife had been taking our little dog Jerry to get groomed here for over a year a young lady named Olivia had been grooming our dog all this time we never had any problems, then Olivia was out I believe on personal leave, so early this October we set an appointment to have our dog groomed as we had done in the past only this time they replaced Olivia with an other young lady groomer named Madeline my wife picked up Jerry, Madeline did a horrible job, this was on a Saturday when I got home that evening I saw my little dog and asked my wife what happen to Jerry she replied I don't know that's the way the new groomer trimmed him, the following morning I left Lake Forest Grooming a message to please return my call so that we could have this corrected, a week went by,there was no call back, so then I called again and left a second message, still no call back, then a few days later, I called third time and someone answered. I asked the person who answered why nobody returned my call, she put me on hold this a little while latter a young lady got on the phone said her name was Madeline the groomer and that she was out of town that's why she did not return my calls, I explain to her what the situation was again, she asked me if I wanted to bring him in the next day or two or just wait until Saturday when I had my next appointment to correct the problem she said that was best, so I agreed to wait until Saturday, my wife dropped Jerry off on Saturday, I went to pick him up Madeline came to the front desk said you need to pay $85, and I responded why if you are correcting what was not done correctly, are you trying to say you are not going to take responsibility for what you did, you are not going stand behind your work, she had an attitude she just responded you had a standing appointment so that no longer counts so pay you the $85 or I will not release your dog! So I said that's not right, I was upset but I did not want to make a scene, I paid and left I will never return here again, I took my dog get groomed at Petsmart a few weeks later and they charged me $61 that's $24 less and they did a terrific job

Believe the one and two star reviews. They will injure your pup and not tell you about it. The groomer cut my poor baby IN HER EYEBALL and when I went to go pick her up they told me it was just irritated from the bath. It wasn't until scar tissue had developed that it became clear that it was an injury. We've been trying to get her healed for months now. Also do not expect them to take any accountability for anything they do, as you can see in their responses to the other 1-2 star reviews where you will see that they have injured other pups, they will try to turn it around on you. They will even make up lies to try and save their reputation. I've had my dogs for 14 years and I've never had this issue. They went as far as lying saying that I have "several" subsequent cancellations and no shows which I have never done, and actually, they were the ones who canceled appointments on me last minute for two dogs and then rescheduled only for one and didn't tell me until the day of. This happened a few months prior to this whole ordeal. I gave them another chance because mistakes happen but they are absolutely irresponsible and terrible for not just cutting my pup but also being blatant liars. Please read all of the reviews before taking your babies here. There's another review here with a story exactly like mine and several others where they have injured pups and not said anything to the owner upon pickup.

My dog is obvious medium size with short hair but it was charged for large size price. This never happens in other pet spa. It is over charged and over price. The experience is unpleasant.

Friendly staff nice clean location had my dog Rose done early witch is usually not the case at other groomers and that was a very nice surprise. My pet looked great after. It was our first time there and will take her back for next haircut

Staff was very helpful. Did the self wash but Scout was not sure how to wash himself so I assisted. It was $18 and the water was nice and warm. One towel comes with the wash and it costs $2 per towel after that. I brought my own towels so all was good.It is nice having the warm water and dryers as well as not having to bend over to wash him. We also did the nail clipping for $10. All was good.

I have a Belgian shepherd who grows a thick undercoat every winter, and we have been here twice and Jasmine does an amazing job! She always makes him look so handsome and he’s so happy and all the undercoat is out after being groomed here. He loves it, I love it! Highly recommend.

I use the self-service for my MalinoisXGSD and they have it all nicely setup. Looks like they do really nice work as well, many if the dogs there getting groomed were looking very nice.

The Pomeranian specialist here did a fantastic job with our 14 year old baby! He looks and feels like a puppy again! Will definitely be using them for all our future grooming needs!
