FREAKING OUT!!When the city of Los Angeles posts a street slurry seal application notice on your POD... For a POD unit that is sitting on the street. And the foreign customer service representative doesn't understand what that means and doesn't understand why I need to move the pickup date up and suggests that I can go online and reschedule for a later date... after the road work is done. (I had also scheduled an earlier pickup but they didn't pick up because there was a single piece of peg board leaning against the side of the unit). I never ask to speak with the manager... But this is an emergency. They said they can't give out that information and gave me a case number instead. Hahaha hysterical. I am totally going to have a POD sized empty spot in front of my house. PODs are great if everything is perfect but customer service cannot respond to anything out of the ordinary. I will NOT be responsible for any fines the city levies or if the POD gets stuck to the road.

Everything from ordering the service to the final removal of the PODS was done in a professional manner throughout. Polite and responsive personnel were available at every step. If you like good humor the assistants delivering and removing the PODS have it in spades.

My experience with PODS was great. Our firm ordered the POD and it was delivered and picked up as set. Very easy to arrange both the pickup and delivery. Thank you for the easy process.

I originally left my review under pods Santa Maria, ironically they will only allow one review, but at this point my experience has been so laughable and so horrible it needed a second review.I have been working with Stephanie on my pods case. I was originally asked under my review to reach out to see if we could resolve issues so I reached out to pods and explained my experience. I was told it would take 3-5 business days for a review and someone would get back with me. After 3-5 days, I sent a follow up email, & was told again 3-5 business days, the math ain’t mathin tho.Today on October 3rd, I receive and email from Stephanie. I sent my original message on September 13th. So it’s been 2 weeks of business days, because I didn’t count weekends.Stephanie’s response was basically a reiteration and recap of my horrible pods experience. She gave me dates I scheduled, which I already had, & then blamed one of my issues on low hanging wires and the drivers discretion, but the photos I provided clearly show he cleared the wires no issue and still refused to move my pod further back and out of the way so I could easily move things in and out and be able to park my car in my actual driveway which I was still unable to do. Instead of pods holding themselves accountable for the lack of good experience I had, they made excuses. This company is a joke. You falsely advertise how convenient and in my control everything is for it not to be. You also completely dismissed the fact this was an absolute horror for me and like it wasn’t a big deal. My tv was also broken and instead of you being able to help me directly you refer me to a different part of the company so I have to deal with the hassle of someone else! So instead of you guys doing the right thing, you basically just gave me a recap of my horrible pods order, that I was already aware of and I was coming to you for you to make right. Your review took way longer than 3-5 business days & I even followed up & was told in a nut shell it takes 3-5 business days like that’s not why I followed up in the first place. I hope others are aware of how you treat paying customers, how little you care about the experience, & how instead of choosing to apologize, kiss my butt, you give me a mediocre, robotic response, making me feel like it’s still not your problem. Thank you so much, I will be using a company that cares on my future endeavors.Save your time. Save your money. And use uhaul!! They helped me when pods tried to screw me in the end.

The folks at PODS were all very knowledgeable, kind and extremely flexible! They made a very stressful situation much easier. I highly recommend them for all your moving needs.

PODs was a very good value. Their drivers were professional and the customer service reps were responsive! It was an overall great experience.

Reimburse me for a minimum of 2 hours on delay on your outer timing delivery window ($140/hr * 2hrs = $280). I have to keep movers waiting for 3 hours while the container was delayed.

It was simpler to hire a local company to load/unload and have pods transport and deliver. When compared against a truck rental, the cost of pods ended up being only slightly more than the cost of the rental and all of the other stuff I would have had to do to make it worthwhile. The cost of a full service mover was just too much. Pods made my move simple, and it was scheduled according to my needs rather than having either to do everything myself or on someone else's timetable.

Speed of delivery is good from Midwest to Southern California, BUT once they dropped it off, unwilling to help open up a jammed door. Had to reschedule movers because customer service rep, Wendy, did not elevate problem solving until after multiple phone calls. I doubt anyone will respond with a timely resolution

After renting a POD for 16 months! I called 2 weeks before the next billing to see when it needed to be picked up to avoid another charge. I was told within 3 days of billing date (July 1st) would result in no charge for the month. I scheduled movers and then called PODS to schedule pickup. I requested pickup for July 3rd. They informed me they have that day off (a Monday and non-holiday) and would pick it up on the 5th. I made it clear that I would not pay for another month because they elected not to pick it up per the instructions they provided me. They charged my card. I disputed and they claim I scheduled it for 4 days after billing. I did not. I scheduled for 3 and they elected to not work on that day. Somehow they view this as validating a FULL extra month charge so they could not work on a non-holiday. They fail to see that it was their actions not mine. Their reaction is that I could have changed the pickup date to accommodate for their day off (again, ignoring that they told me 3 days!). Ignoring that it is absurd that I should change everything I did (based on their information) so they could take a non-holiday off, I actually could not as I had other non-movable plans and could not coordinate the movers to have the pod empty on July 1 (the ONLY day during the 3 days PODS claimed would not be charged that they actually worked). I could not schedule movers and PODS for the same day or it would not have been empty. I made the pod available within 3 days and requested pickup within 3 days EXACTLY as I was directed. They chose to pick it up later and then charge me a full month. After 16 months of me renting the POD, charged me $290 because they wanted to take a day off and then claim it's my fault. I disputed and they doubled down. I disputed again and they tripled down. What kind of company treats a long term customer this way? Never again with this company and I highly recommend using ANYONE else!

PODs delivered my items as requested, however missed my target delivery date. Scheduling is everything, by missing the date PODs cost me a lot more money on my move. 3 stars is more than fair based on my experience.

They are terrible. If you have an issue. It will not be resolved. You can talk to a customer service representative, they are always polite, they will note your issue or complaint and that is it. No follow-up or calls from any manager. We have been having an issue with billing and no one can ever resolve anything.

Worst Moving experience of my life; When I needed to move from South OC to Inland empire temporarily; I Instructed tohe pods team to drop off on the concrete in front of destination;it was put facing the edge of an 8 foot cliff where I cauldn't load my belongings without falling down holding furniture; It then took 3 attempts to move it due to them putting it on dirt and having a rainstorm all week; Finally it got repositioned and was able to pull my bed out after sleeping on the floor for days. The when I go to confirm the pickup for my move to our new place; the team at PODS over the phone confirmed pickup/dropoff would be 9:45am-12:45pm; They picked up my pod at 7:45am; and I didn't notice until 8am when I carried my bed frame out to load it before arrival (a simple call when they arrived or knock on the front door would've been nice/professional, but I guess they didn't care about whether everything was loaded even though they were there over an hour too early according to the pickup window. I then called pods asking for a credit since I had to coordinate another moving company to get my bed moved for another $400. I Never got a credit; I also was told I wouldn't be charged any more for this move and a couple days later get charged another $200, for the so called pickup of my pod. I just had my first baby on February 14th, and just remembered I never followed up to ask about my credits/refunds...I'll be disputing all charges from PODS with my bank if this isn't resolved in the next week...I literally hate this company.
