“Remember when Lego was just a block of rectangular bricks. That was back in 1960s. Wow have they changed and morphed into a diverse universe. Grand kids love the place. The new complex collectable series are out of this world. Just wish the store was bigger and had more displays of the larger sets. The good thing about the mission Viejo store is it is not crowded and the staff are very helpful. The other good thing is it is in the mall and if the wife and daughters want to browse somewhere else it is just fine with the grandsons and me. We love hanging out here looking at the Lego sets.”
“My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this Barnes and nobles! It's a two story building with easily accessible sections, the employees were very kind, the prices are a bit prices but not more than more new-book book stores. They are wheel chair and stroller accessible with a large kids section that slightly closed in which makes it easier to keep the little ones contained. Overall, it was a very, very good experience.”
“Great experience at Build a Bear for the first time in a LONG time for me and my husband, and our baby's first visit! The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. I love their pay your age program so you can get your little ones a birthday bear. The actual store was organized, clean, and well stocked. Highly recommend this store and location specifically.”

“This was such an enjoyable experience. Mishi has great availability for appointments, easy to find location. She's very quick, you are in and out in 15 minutes. The impressions were ready for pickup 7 weeks later just as she had promised. They look great and I can't wait to get them displayed!”
“My kids (ages 5 and 6) absolutely loved it—and honestly, so did I. This place is a refreshing change from the typical junky, disposable toys you find at big-box stores like Walmart. Everything is thoughtfully curated, high-quality, and clearly chosen with kids’ imagination and longevity in mind.
The store itself has a warm, friendly, and inviting atmosphere, and you can tell it’s run with care. Amanda, the owner, is fantastic—super kind, attentive, and clearly focused on creating a great experience for both kids and parents. She runs a tight ship and it shows in every detail.

One of my favorite sections is the stationery-adorable pens, erasers, pencil cases, and stickers that make any desk setup more fun. On this visit, my heart was completely stolen by fluffy magnetic keychains-so soft and charming!
The store also has a nice selection of tote bags, perfect for everyday use.
For plush toy lovers, there's an amazing variety from the Nintendo universe, including Koopa Troopas, Mario mushrooms, Luigi, Bob-omb, Boo, Yoshi, Princess Daisy, and more. If you're a Hello Kitty fan, you'll also find plushies featuring characters like My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, and Pompompurin!
Beyond plushies, there’s a great range of plastic figurines, including anime collectibles. The homeware section is equally impressive, offering mugs, glasses, bowls, mugs with lids and figurines, teapots, and thermoses.
Overall, this store is a treasure trove of cute and unique finds!”

“We’ve loved exploring The Game Chest when it was at the Irvine Spectrum, and we love it even more knowing that it has a Lab Tama for Tamagotchi Paradise (a recent Christmas gift for my kiddo). The associate was kind and helpful. The store was clean and stocked with all sorts of toys and games. The new location is nice, but we hope that the Spectrum will be able to have them back in the near future.”

“Great shop to pick up anime figures and anime merch. The online store has more but it is nice to come and see some of it on display. The shop itself is in a business district and is not super big but gives a good idea of what they carry. I would definitely check out the online shop as it has more inventory.”

“This is like a gem in the rock. I found the store from Yelp and decided to visit it. All the gift and novelty items are very reasonably priced! The owner is friendly and helpful at explaining items in the store. Their Tshirts are just amazingly priced, 4 for $10!! You will not be able to find another store to beat it. It is also 100% cotton and in good quality! We bought 8 Tshorts and 2 purses for a total of just $30. The owner also gave us a 50% off on the special D3 batteries because he knew that it was our first time visiting his store. There are many toy and gift items, and some of them are already gift wrapped nicely. They also sell women's accessories and cosmetics. It is so much better than 99 cents and Dollar stores!!”
