When I went here it was around 1990 I guess it was called Canyon meadow Christian church camp by this American Baptist Church group anyway I remember that it had covered wagons a large fire pit I think a large common area for like potluck. This was our church family camp from the 1980-1990s I always wondered what became of this camp. Alot has changed I'm sure. Even the name of our church from First Baptist Church to purpose church. Hopefully canyon Meadows Lake hues is still going strong. Alot of memories of church family camp here . Oh yeah hay ride too. That was fun ? I don't have any photos as we no longer go there. I do remember this place.

I sent my grandson here for a week and he had a great time. Staff was great only downside was he didn't like any of the food provided and he's not a picky eater but he also said the line for lunch was really long and he was very hungry and wanted to eat asap. He also didn't want to go on the last day I think there's was an activity he didn't want to participate in but he never said. They also were great with insuring kids used their sunscreen and drank their water. It was pretty pricey for 1 week but then everything is nowadays. All in all he had a great time and impressed himself by performing the challenges they had for them and I'm very grateful for that!Would have given 5 stars if not for long lines to eat and evidently not kid friendly food/lunch.

I went on March 2019 (before Covid) and it was a really good and exciting place. Was there for 2 nights and 3 days for a school trip and it was a fun spot to just escape the real world. Didn't get to have a full experience since it was pretty cold when I went but I still loved it. Would definitely go again and recommend to a friend.
