But Chris called several of his friends to see if any of them could do a brake job that night. He had no luck, but offered to take a look at our van. He checked our fluid level and the discs and said, "Your brakes are fine. Have you been using your low gear coming over the mountains." We hadn't been. Chris saved the day, the weekend and our trip.
