If your getting gas u can't just roll up none of the gas pumps take your credit card or debit card it's a ghetto ass crack head shell gas station. You have to go inside risk getting infected w Covid if you don't have a mask. Something feels cuz of the creepers hanging outside.

I got food poisoning here, spent the night in the ER for eating “Chester chicken”. Days later I heard them say when food gets too old, they just recook it!!!Cashiers talk under their breath and laugh when asked what they sead to you.The owners family embezzle stuff by just walking out with merchandise and never paying!!Don’t spend your money here!!!!

Just your average Shell gasoline station. Not the prettiest, but it serves its purpose. Fills you up and gets you back on Kern roads. This particular location has a Chester's Chicken location inside which thanks to the young lady working it serves some dam good fried chicken!

The over weight cashier with long black hair and bangs at the counter thought she was being cute refusing to give me my change back. She said they didn't have any, then proceeded to open her register, where there were plenty of coins in her drawer. When I asked why I couldn't have *that* change, she told me that was for *other* people that needed it more. Uhhhh what?? She laughed again and told me my change would go to their donations for their yearly fireworks show. Uhm, no. She then told me to take a lollipop on my way out "to call it even", and when I suggested how about she just take off the 45¢ I owed her instead of keeping my 55¢ change (which shouldn't be an issue if they're keeping everyone's change, right?) she laughed at me *again*. Unfortunately it's a holiday and their corporate office is closed, but I'll definitely be writing them and calling again in the morning. I understand that it's only 55¢, but it's the principle and the way it was handled, and a huge corporation like shell can figure out another way to get people their proper money, instead of stealing it. We come up here about once a month and always fill up all of our RVs and trucks (we always come with at least 8-10 groups) at this gas station, but after this experience we'll be giving our business to the chevron down the street instead until someone can rectify the situation.

last night was the first time we came to that restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We had a good time with the attentive service, with the fine dishes and booze and with the honest charge. We will absolutely return there in a short time.

Standard gas station. The bathroom wasn't clean and the door handle was not working well, but what can you expect from a gas station.

Gas station attendant told me I couldn't park next to this Escalade. I got kicked out, apparently this SUV is the owner's so that gives her immunity. I was completely harassed by the attendant with a complete lack of customer service and common decency. Later down the canyon the "owner" passes me on a double yellow line. Please get some paint on the parking lot if you are going to enforce a no parking rule. Though, I shouldn't be surprised that the "owner" doesn't follow there own rules, because they cant even follow the rules of the road.

The staff is nice and friendly. They do everything they can to answer questions and help you find what you are looking for. Always a smile and hello from everyone. Chesters chicken is part of the business. What a wonderful addition. They use grown chickens instead of the hormone filled alternatives at other franchises. A chicken leg here is full sized and not bent a deformed by factory chicken farming practices. Everybody is accommodating and nice to deal with. They all seem to understand that it's the customers who pay their salary, not the owner.
