Lake Shasta Lodge is a convenient and affordable roadside hotel that offers clean and cozy rooms, making it a good stop for travelers. The staff are friendly and accommodating, often going above and beyond to meet guests' needs, including late-night check-ins and special requests. Guests appreciate the reasonable rates, with some rooms featuring amenities like a stove, fridge, and plenty of towels and soap. The rooms are generally clean, though some reviews mention minor issues such as stains on the bedding, a slightly dirty pillow, or a spider on the wall. The lodge’s location is quite remote, so having a car is recommended for easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. Inside, the rooms are small but comfortable, with features like a microwave and a TV, though some amenities might have problems, such as a loud AC, inconsistent shower temperatures, or weak Wi-Fi. Overall, Lake Shasta Lodge is praised for its friendly service, cleanliness, and fair prices, making it a recommended stop for travelers needing a simple, no-frills place to rest overnight during a road trip.
Highly recommend. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Last minute Late night check in with our dog also. The sound lady at the counter was extremely personable and friendly. I would go out of my way to return if I'm in the area and needed an over night stop. Thank you very much.

Good barebones motel for a night. Clean, comfortable bed, and close to highway and lake activities.

Wonderful people who run this place. Room was clean. Lots of towels and soap. Rooms are a little older but very clean. I had a stove and a fridge in mine. Can't beat the price, I paid 110 per night. Stopped on my way to Eureka. Recommend it.
