We got stuck in the middle of a snow storm, the Interstate was closed both north and south and there were 2 options for a room and our car BARELY made it here. The woman at the counter was so gracious and accommodating. She got us out of the cold, explained that if the power went out because of the storm we would lose everything (which did happen). Come morning and over a foot of snow, the gentleman brought us water for the toilet and hot coffee and helped us dig the car out. I loved it here.

I am a semitruck driver, I arrived at the hotel, I had called before. Everything is fine, my dogs travel with me in the cabin, I decided to reserve a room here to shower and rest for a bit from my dogs, he did not want to let me in to sleep because I told him that my dogs would sleep in the truck cabin as usual. but he would add another $50 dollars for my two dogs, I said no because I want to sleep without them for just one night.

I was sent off of interstate 5 onto this exit last week when the freeway closed both directions due to a blizzard. I called the Neu Lodge after midnight -- soaking wet from putting chains on, freezing, scared that I'd have to spend a very cold night in my car. "I'm sure you're getting a ton of calls since the freeway closed, but do you have any rooms?" "The one I have has two beds, but I will only charge you what one would have been." The owners could have tripled, quadrupled the price of the room. I was desperate IN A BLIZZARD WITH NO WAY TO ESCAPE. By the next morning there was no electricity anywhere in the town. These amazing people made coffee and soup for all of us that were stranded on their gas stove. Please, please plan to stay here any time you can. They deserve it!!!

Overall positive experience. Our room was spacious & comfortable, though the hotel is pretty close to freeway, we couldn't hear any traffic noises with the AC on. We booked a room in advance but had trouble locating the host upon arrival. We almost left but he showed up just in time. I had to remind him of the price he quoted me and insisted that's what I wanted to pay when he attemped to raise the price. He honored that & put us in a nice quiet room which was a good decision for business. Seems like they're having some trouble running the place & getting business since the lake is hardly what it used to be due to levels dropping so dramatically. However we stayed because we were traveling through. It was easy enough to locate and was the best rate around. They have a nice pool which was great on a hot summer day. Host was very friendly throughout the remainder of our stay. There are enough places nearby for supplies & food - highly recommend the Basshole restaurant less than a mile away. We wish the owners luck in the future & thank them for making right the rocky beginning of our stay. It was a pleasant one in the end.

Very good place. Cheap for the 4th of July weekend. Free wifi, tv, pool, mini fridge, ac/heat, hot shower, coffee. Service bell for if you arrive any time of day. Nice and clean easy to get to, owned by some friendly

Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised. We were driving northbound late at night looking for a place to crash. Everything seemed to be booked. We took our chances with this motel and stopped. The owner is a fellow former servicemember. He seemed kind and honorable. He even gave us a small but welcomed discount. Got to the room, nothing different from others. It looked clean, well-serviced with the needed supplies, and everything worked (internet, hot water, tv, etc). The bed was comfortable and i slept well. Check out was at 1030 so had to wake up a bit earlier, but definitely this motel was a very good value and we thank Jeff for his hospitality. I will probably transit through here again in the next few months and will definitely schedule to stay here again. God Bless and Semper Fi USMC. Signed, Retired USN Senior Chief

Even though I have never stayed the night there, I personally know how friendly the owners are and how if you look at the positive reviews on how clean this place is. I wouldn't give the negative reviews much merit. You cant always make your customers 100% happy but only try to do your best.I know because I've been cleaning their carpets for some years now and quite often.

Really accommodating folks, clean rooms, nice setting right off the I-5. I wish the pool was open, but its located near the shell which has a Subway inside of it. Also near Antler's RV campground and there's a grocery store and other businesses located across the highway withing walking distance. We broke down here and the people have been really kind and helpful.

I recently stayed at neu lodge under emergency circumstances. jayne and Jeff the owners of the lodge were nothing but hospitable and made sure their guest was taken care of . They are first class folks with wonderfull rooms and good rates. I highly recommend staying at neu lodge over big chain hotels, you will not be disappointed. God bless Jayne and Jeff for their services the their community. I woul give them 5 stars and 6 if i could.

Spacious room, bed was ok, and room was very clean. The owners were very accommodating considering we were checking in at like 10/11pm due to the hwy being completely shut down from a fatal accident and we had a truck/trailer combo that comes in at about 50ish ft total length.
