RV spaces vary wildly ours did not have room to even put our awning out or have a picnic table yet our friends in another area had plenty of space. Many of the roads are gravel and while it says "5mph" many people go faster and stir up lots of dust. The bathrooms / showers are ROUGH. Pool is closed indefinitely. Sites are just dirt no gravel, sand, or grass. 30amp power only as far as I could see and no 15 or 20 amp on the pedestal. Our 30amp was mounted funny and we had to use zip ties to keep the plug from falling out. Many of the sites are oriented such that your living space faces eachother quite odd if your in one of the tighter spaces. Way out at the edge of the park I was walking my dogs when both were doing #2 I had a poo bag out and open in my hand waiting for them to finish when an employee told me this "wasn't really the dog poo area" for reference this area was dirt and 75ft+ from any site or building etc and is only used as overflow parking. It also seems they charge a pet deposit. The only positive I can think of is that it wasn't full and had many empty spaces can't imagine if if was full how crowded it would be. I would prefer not to return to this specific campground unless it comes under new management and gets some maintenance and repairs and updates done. I get the feeling they have been running it on a shoe string budget for 10+ years.

We camped here in the tent area 3 families all together, and we had a blast! The grounds were very well kept. The staff are very pleasant to interact with as well. The only bummer was that the pool was closed. The lake was better!!???I still offer ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you for the amazing memories ❤️I would definitely recommend it this campground??

First the good, the staff were pleasant. The bad, where to begin! This is a very tired campground. There is no pool. It's been closed for years. The campground is very dusty, on the dirty side. It is totally run down. The bathrooms are a disgrace. The garbage cans are plastic, old and beat up. Believe me when I say it looks absolutely nothing like it's web site implies. This place needs a total overhaul,. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I wish I had read all the reviews before I made reservations. Which weren't needed as the place was far from full. We camped in a 23 foot travel trailer. Oh! One more thing, Wi-Fi was absolutely terrible. Good luck

Stayed here two nights in July 2023 on our way south. Spots are all dirt, a bit tight, and old. Didn't know about the LOUD and frequent train throughout the day and night. That was very annoying. Pool is no longer working and lake access is not convenient. After staying in several other much nicer rv resorts along our month-long trip to other states, this one could really use a facelift. But too bad nothing can be done about that train. It's very close (like within 75') and loud. I can't and would not recommend this park unless you're desperate. Although, Diane at the front desk was pleasant enough and helpful. We made it through.

We had a big family vacation and rented a little of everything, from RV sites, cabin and tents. I found this site because we wanted a place we could rent a slip to leave boat in water. Let's start with the boat ramp. I'd give it a 2.5. Location was perfect. Docks were alittle sketchy. We had gas cans, and rafts stolen. Only time there is security, a family member sleeps on doc from 9 p.m. to 5a.m. Hard not to leave somethings on your boat when you have been in water all day only to be back and do it again the next day. RV Park, do not go off website, it is false advertisement. No pool, laundry facility, kids evening activities. Anthony the maintenance guy very nice and kids loved him. Older lady in office, may be owner not as friendly. I didn't read reviews before I booked so I was concerned about some things prior to going. There is a train that goes right by the camp. The train really was not a big deal. Everyone in our group said it wasn't bad at all. Restroom/showers, alittle out dated, but they were kept pretty clean. All n all, would we go back to this park? Maybe so, not having the pool for as many kids that we had would have been nice, but we really enjoy our time together there. Not having the amenities that we thought we would have, really wasn't that big of a deal in the end.

This is anything but a resort as the name suggests. Dirty and dusty. Don’t count a swimming pool like their website says. We asked why the pool was not open and got a really lame answer. I think there are some lifers living there. Overall very disappointed

So we were looking for a last minute spot for the July 4th weekend. We were excited to find something near the lake! We were somewhat familiar with the park being as we had regularly spent our summers in the area on family trips from 2003-2012. I don't mind it for what it was. This is a pretty spot, located decently close to the lake if it's full. It's not expensive at 50.00 a night. But the wifi is so weak you can't use it. The pools seems to have been closed for years, the spots are small and the rain is right behind the park. But.. it's beautiful, lots of shade and trees, really feels like camping, all dirt. There is easy access to water from their dock (a 2-5 min drive) you can easily set up on the shore with a pop up for shade and have a picnic. My issue was the customer service. When I asked the person if they had a spot she said she JUST had a cancellation. I feel that probably was untrue based on their 50% occupancy while we were there for 4 days. And she acted like she couldn't hear me when I asked about their pool and rushed me for my cc number - she sure did hear me when I gave my credit card. (Lol) anyway it's cute enough for the cost, after a long day on the water we didn't hear the train but it was right behind us. It was really pretty with all the trees and it was clean, trash was picked up daily.

The camp site was small. The fire fits need to be updated. My husband had to find rocks and place them around the tire ream. If you like trains running back and forth in the late evenings and night this is your place. One of the ladies helping in the office was not in a good mood. I will not be returning.

This place was as bad as the reviews say. We rented one of the cabins. The swamp cooler broke down within minutes of unpacking. Thankfully we were able to move to another cabin. The pool was closed. When asked why, they said "it's broken." The person who answers the phone is an elderly woman with severe hearing loss, so it was next to impossible to communicate with her. I'm not criticizing her for that. I just think that if a person cannot hear, someone else should be responsible for having to interact with customers. The office hours are erratic and it seems they close when they want to close without warning. There's a train that roars through once every 2-3 hours, including the overnight hours. The cabins are located the farthest from the train tracks, but I imagine the trains are pretty loud for people who are in tents or RVs. Don't get me started on the wi-fi. It's spotty at best -- and that's being generous.

Stayed here for a long weekend and unfortunately our experience was not great. The staff is friendly but the amenities are lacking. The pool was closed. The train tracks are directly behind the park and LOUD. The train passed by about 12 times during our stay. The RV spots are really close together and right on the road. No lake access from the park you either have to load up and drive to it or walk across the street and down a rocky hill to get to it. Would not stay again and would not recommend

Love staying here! This is our 4th trip here and we enjoy this campground. We always rent a slip for our boat and camp at this location when heading to Shasta. The spots are midsized... not tight but not massive, unless you're coming alone then get spot 14... plenty of outside space. The spots are decent size and long enough for our friends 36' trailer and their truck. We like that you can park next to each other and open to the middle... so much more enjoyable than places that force you all to face the same direction. They have extra parking for you to store your boat trailer or host extra vehicles if needed. This trip we met a group that have 8 spots and they are fun fun fun!!! Kids galore, dogs everywhere and music into sundown. We will be back again in a couple months!

We’ve been here one time (4 years ago) and tried to make a reservation again for this summer. The lady who answered the phone (the owner I’m assuming) could hardly hear me, even though I was talking loudly to her. She was accommodating in our reservation on the phone but when she sent the confirmation email, it wasn’t what she told me on the phone. I tried to respond via email and got no response back. Then, I had to call an cancel the reservation a few weeks later, and she was extremely rude to me! She asked why I was canceling and I said we weren’t able to travel over there now with my new baby. And then I asked if the whole deposit would be refunding and she said (after several attempts at asking that question mind you) well less the $15. I said where does it state this rule. (Again, having to repeat myself several time!) she then yelled at me and said it’s in the rules. And it’s just the cost of doing business! And then hung up on me!!!I can’t even fathom treating customers like that!! I don’t care if you’ve own this business for a day or 20 years! You want to keep customers coming back, you do not hang up on them or be rude!!

First stay at Lake Shasta and we stayed at this campground. We had a great spot. Very quiet. This was one of the cleaner campgrounds we’ve visited and the grounds were kept up. Bathrooms were cleaned well and regularly. Super friendly staff (thank you Anthony). Wifi was really spotty and non existent at times but honestly we went camping to unplug.

This place is beautiful, affordable, and the camp host is so nice.
