“I only required transmission service and the guys did exactly that, the job they did to repair any transmission issue was resolved in a very thorough and efficient way..but in the process one of the guys noticed a tire issue dangerously dangling above his head. Upon a closer more personal looksee he realized that the front driver side tire was not even attached..after viewing the photos that were sent to me I can best describe it as toddlers loose tooth...when the tooth is too loose to count for something ya know when it just flops around but won't not able to fall out because it is still attached to the root (gum). That tire could have come off at any time. The head honcho guy Harry I think..fixed the problem. He just took money from his own pocket without any hesitation and got the part he needed. That tire could have off at any time. I could have died. I believe in this rating that highest rating of 5 is to low of a score. This guy, owner of this shop, put the safety of everybody first. That man is very humble. That man is very gracious. That man has compassion for humanity.”
“What a great shop this was. We got a flat and had to have our car towed. After contacting a couple of other shops who wouldn’t stay after their closing time, when we called Carlton Tire they said they would wait and help us out. When we arrived they were extremely helpful in determining the cause, fixing the flat, and sending us in our way. The entire crew was so helpful and welcoming. We so appreciate this excellent service. Good job everyone!”
“I was at a loss what to do with this car I bought couldn’t put it in my name it wouldn’t pass smog so much was wrong with it it sat covered in mold and was taking up so much space in my driveway. I was stressed out daily about it! Then Troy messaged me and came and picked it up that same day! No hassle no run around straight to business! Very very thankful! Thank u again Troy! “S and k.is awesome they fixed my car perfectly after another auto shop ripped me off in Lakeport. S and k found the right part to fix my car after the other shop gave me a cheap part then when my car didn't work right wanted to charge me a thousand dollars to fix it if they could find out what was wrong. S and k did a free diagnostic then ordered the right part and it cost me only three hundred when the other shop wanted a thousand dollars. From now on s and k is my auto repair place.”

“This is a small but busy shop because Carlos, the owner, knows what he's doing and does it well. I was referred to him by both Napa Auto. AND. O'Reilly's auto parts shops as the guy to go to when l had trouble starting my car . Carlos fixed the problem the same day l brought it in and l don't feel like l was overcharged or taken advantage of because I'm an old lady. I'll take my van back to him if l ever need repair work done on my van again.”

However, given the closest dealerships are in Marin or Sacramento, you have to do the math whether saving $100 is worth a 2-hour drive each way. “This review is specifically for the service department. I spoke with a wonderful gentleman named John about getting my front brake pads replaced. He was nice, polite, and got an appointment for me in under a week. When I took my vehicle in the customer service was good and I didn't have to wait long at all. I even called and asked if I could come in at a later time that day and they were very accommodating. While they were doing the brake pads they noticed my rotors were bad too. They called me right away to let me know and even went out of their way to find rotors for my vehicle that day. With the wonderful customer service, being so accommodating, and doing a good Job with servicing my vehicle I would definitely recommend the service department.”
