Luckily I dont have to go inside the branch very often but every time Ive been in, I always see an employee being rude to a customer. I have been with Chase for over 10 years and have never been charged a fee for temporary checks at any location except recently at this particular location. When the teller told me it was a $3 charge for 3 checks and that they have always charged, I asked to speak to a manager. Upon waiting, one of the employees who sets up the accounts (Im assuming) told me he could help with my inquiry but instead tried to sell me a new account "to avoid the $3 fee." I found his attempt to "help" me unprofessional, especially when he asked me how much money I had in my account instead if asking if I had the minimum to open said account. Upon speaking to the manager, I found her condescending tone unprofessional and was disappointed when she didn't wave the fee even though I had never been charged before. Suffice it to say, this podunk towns poor customer service is ruining this banks reputation and making me want to take my business elsewhere.

The employees are nice but greatly under staffed so generally you are directed to the web site which is also a complete nightmare in my case.Trying to add a person on the account never happened and appointments are weeks away. I need new checks for checking account and that has been nothing but frustration and roadblocks! Anyway I will be shopping for a bank that actually "Does Banking"

I have banked with Chase for many years and had only great experiences at other branches. Tellers here in Lakeport have been friendly and helpful and I've had only positive experiences with them. Unfortunately it is consistently difficult to accomplish tasks that require speaking with a banker, and I can't trust one of the bankers I worked with here. She made several errors setting up new accounts, worked extremely inefficiently, was very unresponsive to requests I made to address the errors, and then wouldn't close the accounts for weeks. I walked into another branch and had them closed the same day. I've been very pleased with customer service at other Chase locations which is why I've stayed with this bank for many years. For years I just avoided doing business at this location, but unfortunately the inability to work effectively with a key member here in addition to the difficulty in getting appointments with bankers here is a deal breaker for me in staying with this bank as a whole. I have been moving all my personal and business accounts to other institutions and post this in case it's helpful for someone else to avoid the issues I dealt with.
