Rock and Gem show was interesting. Lots of rocks and gems to look at. Many booths were giving away items to children. The gem sellers from Arizona were awesome and gave mini lessons on rock, gems and jewlery. Its a lovely event held at the Lakeside Rodeo

Our family has supported the Lakeside Rodeo and Youth Fair for over forty years. We have purchased one or two rodeo boxes since 1978. We were informed that our opportunity to attend this year's performance was "drawn" for Friday night. We have always attended the family orientated Saturday day performance and wished to continue purchase of our historic box seats for that performance. I was informed that the Saturday performance was evening only and that we would be limited to a single box on Friday night. Our family has grown up with the annual rodeo. I hoped that my grandchildren would continue the family tradition. I was astonished that long time supporters of the Stadium Association would be treated so rudely. Our longtime association with the rodeo has developed some great relationships with members and some of the original founders. Previously supporters were treated as family. Obviously that tradition does not continue. I'm sorry that we will not be able to continue our support of the Stadium Association. Good luck with your future.
