9 times out of 10 has what I need for whatever project I am working on. More times than I can count, I have bought something at Home Depot or Harbor Freight that is far cheaper here for the identical item. I have made it a point to come here first. Great home improvement store!

Old very overweight man with gray hair made trying to shop there an unpleasant experience. Rode my bike there and wanted to carry my bike in the store because I've already dealt with a stolen bike, the guy starts saying with a loud voice what I'm looking for while I'm in another aisle out of eye sight, being confused I walk back and ask him if he was asking me, tell him what I'm looking for, he says they don't have it, I say that's okay and tell him I'm going to look for other things too, he proceeds to follow me from aisle to aisle and watch me from a distance making for an uncomfortable experience after I set my bike near the front at his request, I ask him if he thinks I'm going to steal something and he says he's there to help, standing down every aisle and watching someone and repeatedly asking what they are looking for is helpful? Even after telling him I'm okay. Been coming here since I was a kid and it was never this unpleasant before, didn't buy anything because of it. Will take money elsewhere.

We live nearby so I stop by occasionally bc I like to support a local store. Went in to grab an item today, guy directed me to the aisle as usual - all good. I immediately grab my item and make a quick call to family to see if they want me to pick up any items for them, then browse the aisle for a few mins. All said about 5 mins total.
I go to the checkout and the old man with white hair grumbles to me “Did you finally make up your mind” - um excuse me??? Oh the little woman must be sooo confused in the hardware store! Apologies for annoying you by shopping in your store! Next time I’ll order it online for $4.69, instead of paying you $8.99, and save myself the side of misogyny, bc ain’t no way you would have said that to a man.

I always check here first before using the big box stores..and sometimes they are even cheaper plus save the drive !!! Get my screws and nails here in bulk at a super good price ...one of the guys always is open to trouble shoot problems and help me out.. I have an old house I'm always doing repairs...Hey keep our $ local !!!
