This is probably the best U-Haul experience I've had in a very long time I use U-Haul often and I was in and out of there really quick it's great because there's a convenience store and I was able to get drinks and have myself in and out of there ready for my trip definitely recommend this place

This place is such a scam. They offered me $350 to tow SOMEONE ELSE'S u-box but will not allow me to tow my own. This means, they are giving YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS to unlicensed strangers to be driven. They are charging you hundreds to thousands of dollars to have your things transported by completely untrained strangers and won't allow you to transport your own. This is why pods are so much more expensive. They pay trained professionals to transport your items unlike u-haul who gives your stuff to any 21 year old with a driver's license.

Had an appointment to drop off a trailer at this location. I pulled up and the guy said to go somewhere else because he "had others coming later".I tried to bring it to the other location down the street but you can only drop off at the scheduled location. So we went back to this store with U-Haul customer service on the phone and the guy at the store insulted me and said that I was being irrational... I strongly suggest you listen to the other reviewers and avoid this store.The U-Haul location in El cajon had such great service, but I'll buy a trailer before renting from them again. Completely unacceptable for U-Haul to allow this level of ineptitude.

RUDE! This location has the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. Who would have thought returning a uhual, to the location scheduled weeks in advance, would be so hard to do?! They first said it was because of space, though their lot wasn't full, and our contract stated it would be returned at this location. Then the reasoning changed and not even corporate Uhaul could help us. Save yourself a headache and take your business to the location on Main. It's a world of a difference in any of their corporate locations. This place is trash.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. First I reserved a 10ft truck for $19.95. I also got a furniture dolly & moving blankets. So I get there and I'm told they only have a 20ft truck for me. I'm told I would get the truck for the same price as the smaller truck. They also did not have the furniture dolly either. I asked the guy that was helping me what I would be charged if I happen to be an hour or two late dropping off the truck. He specifically told me I would ONLY be charged $19.95. I asked him twice and repeated it back to him to clarify and he repeated the same price. My sister was with me and heard/witnessed this. I documented where the gas was, looked at the vehicle for any damage and went on to move my belongings. The next day I stop and get gas, filling it up past where the gas gauge was when I got the truck and returned the truck a couple hours late. Now there is another man assisting me, whom I believe is the owner. The man then proceeds to try charging me an additional day plus all of these other fees and then tries to tell me I was off on the gas by 1/8th a gallon, tacking on more charges. I explain to him that the guy who helped me the day before specifically told me that I would only be charged $19.95 total if I was late, and that I don't know how I could be off on gas when the gauge is above what it was when I got the truck. The man proceeded to berate me, try to intimidate me, and essentially called me stupid. He said "you should have read the fine print, don't you know how to read?!". Of which I was only later emailed a "contract" of the original agreement. I asked him if he was calling me stupid, and he just continued to yell at me. I told him that it's false advertisement to have his employees telling customers a price and then charging something different later. He said "I know what my guys tell people", to which I replied "so you were here? You heard what he said, because I have a witness, feel free to check the cameras." He basically told me "oh well, it's not my problem". He began yelling and berating me again, in a very aggressive way. I had my friend with me as well and she witnessed the entire thing. So not only was I charged almost $200 for a $19.95 truck rental but I was traumatized by this man. Why men think they can rip women off and get away with it is completely insane. They should not be a U-Haul dealer and frankly should be shut down. That's not how you do business and as a matter of fact, I'm seeking legal action against this business and the man specifically for his harassing and threatening behavior towards me, as well as ripping me off.

They had one truck. The guy at the cash register was not wearing a mask, and it was super shady. There is like 1 banner letting you know it is Uhaul. I do not recommend this place, even for convince.

Avoid! I have never been so uncomfortable dealing with person. I had reservations to rent a trailer and when I went to pick it up he told me that it was a problem because I was a female coming to pick up a trailer. He didn't have time to deal with me and kept harassing me and needed information from my "husband". Another customer commented on what an "A** H***" he was being to me. I finally left without the trailer and found one elsewhere. I would NEVER enter this place again.

The people were very nice. Helped us hook up the trailer and everything. But the trailer itself had lights out that we had to have fixed to make it legal to haul.
